right now it is auto, but if its possible i would like to do a manual conversion because my preference is a manual to drive

whats a standard price range if possible for a full set up conversion and not spending time pissing around tryna find an extra this and that just to get it in a running order?

yea current engine has died on me so need to get one in there to get it going so thought i may aswell try upgrade if i can that way i want be looking to change it over again within 5years

i have a 88 318 E30 and looking in time to do an engine conversion. i want to keep it as cheap as possible and keep it original and keep it reasonably easy. in time i may change the engine again but for now just looking to get it running, so seeing advise of anyone who may have done a conversion or knows somebody who did. what would be a cheap easy upgrade for my e30? *edit- current engine has died on me so may aswell look at an upgrade if possible save future hassel but running through ideas of what i can do* cheers

hey there im not sure if these are sorta what your looking like, they are the standard ones on my 1988 318 E30 and im looking at going up to 17s and when i get mine wont need these sitting around. thought id see if they were around what your looking for, i cant upload a pic of mine yet, but four stud v similar to these. with the centre peices, but 2 of them were missing when purchased, with tyres(not sure if they are warrentable or not). they measured 38.5cm diamater (not sure in inches cause im pretty useless lol)

i know its a probable no but would you consider a swap for tanned lether e30 interior, was for a coupe but apparently the brakets are the same. its not the recaro interior just tanned lether, them plus cash?

im just pressuming pistons from an m spec model bmw, havnt really asked for any specific details just got asked and thought id find out any info on what may or may not come of it really

ohk well ive got a friend of mine flicking off some m spec pistons and crankshaft for cheap. so i was wondering is there any benefit (performance or other) for me or reason why i should chuck the m spec pistons and crankshaft into my 318is manual e36. i only ask cause i wouldnt have a clue and thought id ask
