  1. additional pics of same car without the dudes and stickers... easier to see the shape is more "square" both side on and from front/rear. Please resize your photos and respost them.. thank you
  2. Ok have now got decent photos to share of my E30 or dirty 30 as one calls it, Its a well used beast and certainly not pristine like some I see on here, every scrape or dent tells a story however of adventures... Had to replace the top rear shock mountings after the gravel rally, so also replaced all shocks which were long overdue with bilstein gas. Its last event/outing was HCCs night safari, were we came in second... but as we left in 10th place our time was too fast and we missed out on the spoils! Also since my last posting here I ahh... bent the e39 touring... and it was written off, but have now found a nice e46 325 touring M sport. Pics of that also attached. Its standard apart from the stainless back muffler from ENERGY Motorsport presumably a tuning co in Japan. Cheers PS found a towbar for e39 from Probars in Hamilton, good price and bar but not happy with the fitting, seals around the bumper and door were damaged and ended up with water in the spare wheel well. Now looking for one for the e46... Please resize your pictures and repost thank you.... Welcome to the forum
  3. Heres a better looking home made one, just to keep stones away on gravel! You can also see where some dickhead jacked the car off the front crossmember (before my time) ,lucky they missed the oil cooler Please resize your photo and repost.... thankyou
  4. Similar problem to me - bought a Jap import 325 touring Mspec E46 from Auckland yard, great guy and service, very knowledgeable, about 5 days after picking it up back in Hamilton the engine check light came on, I took it to the local BMW dealer to diagnose with his permission and the Auckland yard paid for the repairs, no problems. Just ask!!
  5. Thats confirmed for me that I have an MTech11 kit on my E30. I was never sure but there were few around when I got it. It seems the main difference is the side panels above the sills up the doors and rocker panels which give the car a wider stance overall. See the attached pic of mine taken a few years back when I regularly used it on Dunlop Targa NZ. I'm on the drivers side. The car is an English import and we suspect it was converted in England before import. It has all the specs mentioned except a 3 spoke steering wheel, I now have one to swap! Cheers
  6. Hi all, Have had a beemer for more than 10 years but not seen this site before! Found it searching for source of a towbar for my E39 528 Touring. Anyone help on that front? Also have a well used E30 325iM, white coupe with MTechnic bodykit. Its been around but still goes strong - last used as timing marshall on Waitomo Rally - yep on gravel! Now need to check rear shocks! Cheers all
