So stupidity aside crashed my E36 328 into the back of an Altezza this morning. Seems the Msport front bumper is basically cracked right through. How much am I looked for a msport front bumper , painted to the colour of my car (boston green) and who in Auckland is good for this. Other damage. Head lights smashed and seems might needa get some panel work done on the front right panel (wheres good for small panel work in Auckland) Also gonna have to get a quote for the other guys car :<

Got the m3 wheels off trademe. Pretty average condition but dont look too bad after a clean (got a good deal) And thanks to Mag and Tyre for the mint deal on the tyres.

Ok I dont really wanna bother with modding anything. So would you not advise getting those 17's for my e36coupe? If not what some other options out there with tires included for around the same price?

So I use to drive a 4 door e36 with these 17" rims http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c148/mom...pg?t=1301357357 now I drive Nicks old e36 coupe with these rims http://t1.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcR...RptP4TQ&t=1 the Tread is worn down majorly on the tyres, and I been thinking for along time go back to 17"s like my old one has so im looking for a pair of 17's to put on my 328 e36 coupe with decent tyres on already. I have found my old rims on trademe http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-364904533.htm But he says the will not fit 3 series, im sure these are the same rims my old 3 series use to have ? Can somebody chime in on this issue, also looking for suggestions and links for other rims to chuck on (with tires,under 1000 for the lot)

What should I do about this, taking the car in for a service to get its WOF and thought would get this checked out while im there.

duckeater thanks a load bro. yer I could never drive the normal red bmw, (my last calypso red was just passable) and I hate the rims. Those cheaper 323's are quite nice that Ive looked at ,espcially the silver AC one (although intererior lets it down) also is that the AC kit its fitted with? The blue 323 with the after market rims is alright, but I would def like to change the rims (gona check that car out actualy if no coupes in my price range eventuate). that one at keiths is really not my style. the only 2 im completly happy with are nicks e36 (seriously would love to own) and this http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-293209813.htm both a little out of my price range. so kinda looking at something basically the same but maybe without leather interior or something to make it my price range. Looking to spend about 7k now.

No im really impressed by yours guys info, just there was a few ones that slipped under the radar (few rim questions). After the 2.5 i had i dont want to go any lower, so 2.5 or 2.8 for me. Yep I know, really looking for something thats well serviced and low k's (under 140 and fsh pref) Only thing really on my list atm are a couple of stock standard 328i coupes which look quite tidy and the 1 msport coupe in metalic mora.

Lol I know that getting mspec kit and rims are not gonna make it faster, just for me to be content and happy with the look of my car I would need rims im happy with and the mspec or Ac bodykit. What do you mean if its done low k's and on the original springs its not gonna be very BMW ish? Would like to learn abit more about what your talking about. And yepp so keen for a well serviced car with close to FSH,but can be hard to find. Also would like a coupe better but will settle for a 4 door if right.

Yer man I get ya. When I say buy standard and mspec it my self I dont mean like finding a peice to do up. Talk about finding a real low k well taken care of standard 328 and adding msport bodykit,springs and rims to it basically. But yer would still rather find 1 in good mspec condition.I may try get guy selling the 323i couple in metallic mora to lower a little.
