  1. Hey guys, since I've upgraded to D2 all round I've got a full set of suspension from my E46. These look standard, I can't see any aftermarket branding. Perhaps compressed? This is what it looked like on 19" wheels. Pickup from East Auckland or can have these delivered anywhere in NZ for $20. Taking offers Will consider anything. OSiRiS 0211537624
  2. I would do this but I don't have a towbar!
  3. Oh ok, how can I test that it works?
  4. Seems to me it's a butterfly valve, is this standard?
  5. What is this in my exhaust tip?
  6. Good meeting you! And thanks for persuading me on the right tyre size choice. New 18" x 8" (front) 9" (rear) wheels, 225/40/18 tyres and D2 adjustable suspension Yes I know, I'm missing the BMW carbon wheel center caps, the BMW carbon hood and trunk emblems -they are on order
  7. I have new 18" wheels and tyres as of today, I think it suits the look alot better.
  8. 3 fines and you might aswell have bought genuine ones...
  9. Your non NZ manufactured plates probably cannot be read by the new BP plate recognition system...
  10. Thanks guys. I like the look of CF and I think I will leave it as is.
  11. I've always used TEIN in my turbo Mitsubishis, just haven't come across anything else for the E46
  12. Anyone had any experiences with this setup? Glenn pointed out that my shocks are leaking, have found a good condition set of D2 adjustable coilover suspension for a good price, I know I have to get it certed etc. etc.
  13. Been watching it ever since it was put on Trademe. Love it! Want the wheels
  14. I just rephrased my last post. Not sure what is on the offer yet from the insurance company there. It may be possible.
  15. Unfortunately he can't take any of the stuff off, for insurance reasons. He has lost Alpine Type R components in each door, Alpine F1 status equalizer, Alpine indash screen, Alpine center speaker, Alpine drop down roof screen, Blinder laser jammers hardwired in, bigger supercharger, rebuilt engine etc. etc. and a few other things he has worked hard for. It is the pure inconvenience and hassle which is not covered under insurance -one day he has everything in a car that he has aimed for, next day nothing.
  16. Perhaps the problem lies within your local dealer only, as we are very happy with all of our Holdens
  17. My Mum has a VZ SS aswell. Your excuse is invalid
  18. Yea he's gutted as, one day you have a mint ride, pride and joy something you've worked hard for. The same night, after coming home from a hard day at work, 500m from your home, someone just pulls out in front of you. With less than 2 seconds to react you have a write off. It's like what possums or deers do when they see headlights, they stop in their tracks in the middle of the road. Just a shock reaction. From memory there was research done about how people react; if you would stop in the middle of the road in shock or take evasive action to avoid a collision. I hope that the "spinning wheel" in the NZTA ads runs through her mind before she pulls out of the next intersection... Somehow I think if the E46 BMW in the accident was an E30 or a similar age Jappa the driver would have been alot worse off. Look closely at how much the driver's seat has been squashed...
  19. That seems unfortunate We have 4 Holdens in our family which go through their regular service routine at Moyes and we have never ever had a problem.
