  1. 0800 BMW LTD is only a phone call away
  2. Sorry I'm wanting black with dish in 19's.
  3. Tried that one, still smells the same (the car).
  4. You mean these? Sorry they just don't cut it for me, I can't find them in 19's on Trademe...
  5. I was thinking maybe exhaust? Cat converter? Hmmm.
  6. Smells like, something burning? Can't figure out what it is. Can't smell it when the car is off (obviously), or when it is cold. But when it is warmed up it smells like, ummm, something hot burning? There is no leaking fluids, no smoke and most importantly no fire. Car drives completely fine. I noticed though it started happening about 2 weeks ago, when I was rushed to the Auckland Airport by my driver as I was a bees d*ck close to missing a flight. Car went good (surprisingly the first time it was pushed HARD ) and still goes great, just smells funny
  7. Yea even my younger brother said the same, I just can't imagine it with multi spoke wheels though. What a biatch the wheels will be to clean
  8. Hey guys, Looking at changing wheels, I think. I currently have 19" staggered fitment TSW Thruxtons, which aren't really my style. I like dished wheels, but the way these spokes are designed, the way the come out in the center then go back in at the edge just looks abit, An option is Ruff Racing multi spoke wheels, 19" x 8.5" front and rear 38p. Or another option is SSA G-Force 5 spoke wheels, 19" staggered fitment 8" front, 9.5" rear 45p. Note; car will have black Euro plates, HID black housing headlights, carbon fibre bonnet, carbon fibre hood intake, carbon fibre boot, carbon fibre roof spoiler and LED tailights, so the wheels will need to suit! Let me know what you guys think
  9. If they wanted to blend in I think they would be buying Mazda Bongo vans with window curtains instead.
  10. I would be ever more pissed if my panels came different colours from the factory!
  11. I recently went to Sea World in the Gold Coast. After watching the dolphin show they put on I think the best job in the world would be a dolphin trainer. Seriously.
  12. What exactly is the problem re lining up?
  13. zenetti what options do you have for 19" to suit E46? I'm currently also in the market for wheels.
  14. Make sure you check the authenticity of invoices If buying from a non BS member
  15. I'd just like to say thank you once again to Glenn and his mate "the investigator" for their great work so far. I will be dropping the car off tomorrow and trusting it in Glenn's capable hands for a week while I'm overseas
  16. A BMW would break the pole in half
  17. To be honest he's just dissapeared now. Seemed so helpful and willing to meet "more than halfway" to convenience me yesterday, but now just gone. I could try notify the Police, take him through court etc. etc. but really at the end of the day it's caveat emtpor and I know it. I can't take back my old car now not knowing what he has done to it over the last 24 hours. There is also the other half which I have to contend with. I don't know if I should tell her what I have found out today, as she was the one telling me not to swap and to think it through etc. knowing that I had a thorough attachment to my old car. I think I'm just going to ignore the fact that I have been "ripped" and continue trying to enjoy my new car and really turn it into a mint example. If the engine dies, it dies. I will have it built better than before. I love the shape and the looks of this car, to me it looks like a 20k car, not a 5k car with 10k poured into it -that's the difference between my old car and new. If one positive can come from this situation, please be aware of FAKE invoices being produced, I would hate to put this upon someone or even hear of someone going through the same situation I am.
  18. Thanks Dan, like I said that VR4 represented the "old" me, I have since wanted to move on to more sensible things and cars but this has been a very bad start for me
  19. At the time I didn't question it as it had a VERY REPUTABLE workshop name on the letterhead. I have never had an invoice from Botany Motor Worx Ltd before so I didn't know what an original would look like.
  20. Glenn, remove the attachment from your original post, so that no-one can use it. Here is a SAMPLE of what an original invoice should look like. Again, thanking Glenn for his advice and support. The original thread is here: http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....showtopic=20845
