  1. Good news! I've managed to organise a suitable car for the bride-to-be to arrive and us to depart in. Its a XF Jaguar (like this). That's one down, two to go =)
  2. Seeing as I'm having no luck with my initial wish list, I may have to change tact. I would actually be totally keen to talk to anyone with an E30 M3 who could help out. Having owned an E30, and loving it, I'd really like to tie that in. Also, if I'm to secure that I'd like to talk to anyone in the greater wellington area with a mint E30. Please let me know. I'll add my phone number to the initial post so that you can pass my number on if you know someone that can help!
  3. Absolutely! Hopefully enough to get someone interested.
  4. $450/day plus insurance, gas etc. so might come out closer to $550 depending on distance traveled See: http://www.devinerentals.com/pricing--terms.html
  5. Thanks Andy - check your inbox. Sorry for the late reply, its been a hectic month and a half. I'm still looking for suitable cars, at the moment thinking of renting the M3 from Divine (http://www.devinerentals.com/bmw-m3.html), but its quite pricey and we would definitely need the other two cars to be 4 doors. I'd be really keen to talk to anyone with an S6 or S8 also. Thanks!
  6. Hey guys, I'm getting hitched in April 2013 in the Wellington area, so I'm looking to sort the wedding cars. Basically I'm after 3 cars - a mix of late model (2007+) M3 or M5s (must be four door, no coupes is the only condition I've been given) and possibly Audi RS4 or RS6 sedan or avants depending on what I can find. I know this is a bit of a wish list, but I'm keen to hear from anyone who has any ideas on where to possibly source them from. Please PM if you can help or know someone who may be able to help. Alternatively, my number is 021356788 and my email is [email protected]. Thanks! Of course I'm willing to remunerate in any way required. Thanks!

    World Cup

It was a good game this morning. My gf is half dutch too and so are a lot of my mates, but I'm afraid I'm picking the Spanish to take out the final. Just after watching the Spanish mid-field again I don't know how the dutch will be able to counter it, the Spanish have so much control in the midfield and just grind the other team down until eventually they find an opening. That said though, The Netherlands have been playing very strongly and after another good performance against Uruguay (even though it was a tight match) they're definitely in with a chance. Its going to be one hell of a game, thats for sure!
  8. Bump. This is a really great opportunity to get something that stands out. Something very unique, and quick =)
  9. Bump, its for sale again, fresh WOF. See first post for updated details.
  10. Just finished my 3 year stint at university. Graduated this year and I am now working full time at a start up in Wellington as a Java (J2EE) developer as well as all the other bits and pieces involved with working at a start up.. What's your definition of good?
  11. Damn, that is tight man.
  12. Hi, do you have the outside right headlight for a fl?
  13. Hi, I'm after the outer right headlight (driver's side) as the glass on mine is shattered and the only spare I have is from the left side. Wellington area preferred, but happy to pay postage otherwise. Cheers
  14. It is sold here. I bought a can of it a month or two back from Repco, cost me $30 I believe. Worked a treat but you just have to be delicate, as you know.Mine was filthy from use with a K&N filter, oil over the sensor etc. Been much better since though. just fyi.
  15. Ooh what a great idea, CA18 in the morris is a must have.
  16. Looks good man. What was the sr20det out of and what turbo are you running? Looks to be a tidier transplant than mine Looking forward to seeing the final result.
  17. Just an updated link to the auction: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=275165575
  18. Quoted for truth. The CA18DET is also a lot easier and cheaper to get more power out of as well, if you need/want it. Its a Japanese engine too, so its _generally_ cheaper and easier to repair or find parts for too. All things are relative though.
  19. Well its pretty much a stock engine, running standard boost (the boost controller is currently plumbed back into itself). According to Wikipedia the CA18DET "produces 169 hp (124 kW) and 166 lb·ft (228 Nm)" so I'd say its still around that mark now, although I haven't had it tested. It does pull pretty well though. With a bit of modification that can go up steeply without too much money spent though. If you replace the turbo with a T28 and a few other simple mods you can get a lot more power, but It was plenty powerful for me.
  20. Ta, I've updated the photos now, just had to find the rest of them... A car like this gets a lot of hits and attention on TM but quite often people are reluctant to purchase them haha.
  21. My beloved E30 is up for sale again. Not your average E30 as it has had a CA18DET engine conversion with 5 speed S13 (silvia) gearbox. All mods are certified and flew through the last WOF last week (16th June). Looking for at least $7,000 hopefully. Auction: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=298754353 Here's a copy and paste from TM: Wouldn't mind staying the BMW family, just need something a bit cheaper for a daily.
