  1. How's the PC you typed that message on or the sheets on your bed or maybe the socks your wearing or the shirt off your back? Could go on and on. Your comment has no point as none of the items listed by you or me has any direct financial impact on the festival in question.

Besides which if you wanted to play that way with China I'm pretty sure in a game of tit for tat they'd win and we'd suffer.

You do however have the opportunity to financially hurt companies/farms in NZ who aren't ethically farming. Ofcourse it also means you have to pay a bit more. It's a choice a few of us here make. Do you?

im not the one saying China is a waste of time. Or did you miss that?

  2. Hi all

I wondered whether anyone else is interested in this: www.thetileapp.com

In short it is a small tile you can attach to anything to track its where abouts. The tile emits a signal bluetooth signal up to 100 feet to your own matched phone but every other phone with Tile helps find your stuff by ping'ing - like cellphone towers (watch the video to understand this).

    Actual size is: 37mm x 37mm x 5.3 mm

I am after 1 tile to place in my car but shipping on 1 more expensive than the tile itself...

Anyone else interested in one? Would be happy to do a group order.

    :)

  3. Gave her an entire interior clean. Really.

Look at the crap that came out of the front passengers seatbelt after a scrub down, towel dry and then a sugar-soap wet towel over the top:

Changed my interior dash trim to carbon fibre:

  4. ...prosecution for 'driving without due care and attention', or similar.

the problem with this theory is that what you are trying to prosecute is subjective. What you and I may consider to be "due care and attention" may be different to Tony Macaroni, and different again to Scott Dixon.

Rather than punishing the problem, fix the problem in the first place - I really do believe the Learners / Restricted / Full testing should be longer + harder.

I sat my restricted in a TS50 - the tester tried his hardest to fail me because the "engine is too big for a 16 yr old girl" whatever - if you can drive you can drive.

  5. So the central locking on my car is really buggy - it's an aftermarket key (pretty are there is an aftermarket alarm in there somewhere because it Asian ladies voice comes on as soon as I turn on the car and it drives me insane) which I have to "point at the rear view mirror" to get it to unlock - even then it unlocks 1/5 tries. But worse the manual unlocking barrel doesn't work....

    What do I do?lmao

Do I take it to an auto electrician to tear out the old system?

Do I buy uncut aftermarket keys and get them programmed?

    It's such a weird problem!
