Project nearly there but now petered out, '73 02 which had all the body done which I bought and converted to race. Full cert roll cage and logbook, race seats and belts- now need replacing not having been used, thats how long!!, std M10 motor recon and unused. twin DCOe 48's choked down for the std engine, mangoletsi twin carb setup, Carter high volume low pressure paddle fuel pump. Front brakes upgraded to larger Volvo 240 recon callipers, larger vent. rotors, new yellowstuff pads, std 4 sp gearbox now but includes m20 5 sp close ratio , spare 4sp to convert the m20 one to m10 fitting by casing change, another o/d 5 sp gearbox, assorted parts but dont ask me for any, they only go with the car, body rust free, rear mounted battery, new race tyres, shortened bilstein inserts and adjustable top plates , paint work black with green flecks, much green powdercoating underneath, $19,991 or near offers. After altering my dizzy to take electronic ignition and ECU-which has now got an unrepairable fault!! am unable to go back to the standard, can't find the bits I removed and mech adv solidly epoxied solid. Thanks, Yes I do understand about the restriction of flow and the ideal Carter like pumps but I have an in tank pump [ with XS pressure] with associate fittings, I really don't want to double up with 2 pumps , surge tank and wiring-every extra bit to increase complexity and to go wrong. I was hoping someone would come up with an in tank low pressure high volume pump I could replace it with. Anyone tried a voltage reducer 12v to 6v to reduce pressure in an over enthusiastic but good quality pump ?? Or a simple in tank but from the top pick-up which I could attach a Carter to. I don't wish to start new exits underneath if I can help it.

Looking for some help with fuel pressure reduction.Have a in tank fuel pump- Bosch 0 580 453 019- I think a pretty common set up for E30's ? Puts out 3 bar or 43.5 psi way over the top for carbs which need 3-4 psi max. Had a holley fuel pressure reducer with gauge, can't set it reliably to stay at 4 ish, constantly changes and causes carb overflow. Can't seem to find any in tank Bosch with way lower pressure and tank has no other fuel exit underneath to put an inline pump like a Carter, low pressure high flow. Any ideas ? I suppose I could just have a foot filter and pipe in the in tank fitting and the use an in line pump ??

Hi Tom, i've got 2 gearboxes on tradeMe at the moment, a 245 for a M20 motor and a 240 fro a M10 motor-non mechanical speedo, both are overdrive 5 spds.

Any spare bits for these webers, need to tune for 2002 , need 36 and 38 chokes, jets 125-150, emulsion tubes etc, whatever you have surplus. [email protected], 0274501711
