Haha, that is WAY out of my price range lol Awesome car tho, would be the one to get if someone wanted a showroom condition e31! And as for that $12,000 maroon one, just a little to many kms for myself...although I'm sure the engine could probably do another 240,000km.....nice car

Hi Michael thanks for you kind words! Yea, car has about 350hp, and weighs over 2 tons! which is an insane amount for a 2 door roadster, and i'm surprised it goes as well as it does to be honest hauling that much weight... As for the transmission - dont get me started! grrr.. it will need some attention in the near future, as it makes a bad whining noise in park and drive. However it has been doing it for years so I spose only time will tell (fingers crossed)

Yea, ive only had it for about 6 months, with the top down it turns a few heads! 2 seats isn't ideal for most people however I only use the car in the weekends so its not really an issue for me to be honest.

Hi, Yea funny you should say that, there seems to be a huge price differentiation between early and late models. I see a later model Csi for i think around 27k (which is way out of my price range!!!)... Might just give the E31 dream a miss lol cheers!

Dont know if its even worth my time to view as it looks kinda neglected and a bit too good to be true!?

Hi mate, Yea, love the e39 motorsports, drove a 540i awhile back and was impressed with the way it went. Whilst having a browse on Trademe, Ive seen a E34 V12 wagon aswell as some e36 M3's which look like some good buying! Might delve further into looking at some e46's however I thing i'd need atleast the 2.8 or 3.0 litre engine!

Hi guys and gals, Im new to the BMW scene, just purchasing a trusty old 318ti e36 as my new daily driver. I have never been into the BMW scene (until now), sticking to Mercedes, how ever I am so impressed in the 318ti that I am trying to source a cool BMW under $10,000, so the question is this, whats the best model for that price range; any suggestions e36, e39 ect? not really that fussed on how many doors, transmisson ect to be honest...
