  2. question.... did they make a E34 M525i?
  3. Sorry, I don't know much about this stuff... So these are no good then?

Anybody know anythign about these? Look Here
  6. Here's the deal. Just before i bought my new Bimmer, an E34 525i, i rang my insurance company (at that time it was Fintel) to find out how much it would be to insure me. And the buggers wouldn't. I realise now that this is quite common, most insurance companies won't insure anybody under 21 (in some cases 25) on a car with a bigger engine size than 2 litres. However the nice indian man i talked to did give me the phone number of another company, Insure Direct. They agreed to insure me, but at the horrible price of $1260 per year. (that was with mags and stereo) So now i'm curious. Anybody know of any good insurances companies likely to insure me on my 2.5 litre E34 without me paying the earth for it?

Mate, that is one very nice piece of work. Good on you for moving over to European. :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:
  8. man that's some nice shine... wanna come clean mine? :thumb:
  9. ONe of the worst things about buying a used car, is you never know how much maintaining the previous owner has done. So decided i'm gonna do a radiator flush on my E34. (yay!) Been doing a little research and most places seem to recommend using BMW brand coolant, as it's specially designed for use with BMW's, and anything else will probably damage your engine. :banghead: First of all, is this true? What kind of coolant do you guys use? And if BMW coolant is the way to go, where on earth can i get some from? Thanks all, Jordan
  10. I wouldn't own it, But it's enough to make you stare when it drives past. Good effort :mosh:
  11. Thanks mate. I'll have a ring around tomorrow and price some out and let you know. Thanks everybody!! Jordan
  12. You're right.... Really does look hot on 18's. Might have to aquire some i think... When i get some more monies!! The car is a Japper, and it's an automatic. It's the first automatic i've owned, and boy, do i miss shifting!! It's the price you pay for a nice car though, I suppose.
  13. Yeah, only got it a month or two ago. So now ofcourse, i'm broke You can pick these up on trade me for anywhere between $6 and $10,000. This one cost me just over $8,000. Just been doing a little research... looks like these wheels are off a M5... does that make more sense to anybody?
  14. This is just what i was told by previous owner. They 17" jobs.Came of an M3 that was damaged in the flooding up North somewhere. They guy took em off before the insurance company got to it. The front wheels have spacers, yeah, about an inch or so, but the back didn't need em apparently.
