Would you be doing the manual conversion yourself? Or getting a mechanic to do it? If you want a mechanic to do it talk to Ray at hellBM.

Hey guys,
I'm in the middle of putting a zf 5speed box in to my e36(had a gettag 220g in it). How ever I'm running into a problem with the shifter linkage. I was told by the Interwebs that I could bend the 220g selector rod keep my 220g shift leaver but I had to buy a zf shifting arm. So that's what I did how ever I can only find 1,3,5 and reverse. When I try to get it in to 2nd or 4th it feels like it bottoms out and it will not go into those gears. So my question is do I need a new zf shifter lever and selector rod or just a selector rod? Any input or information would be great!

Tank and sender are surplus to requirements and available if anyone needs them.
That's a good price, let us know how the install goes!

Thanks to @richard for a good deal and great chat! He even threw in a fan cowl which I needed and some ancillaries I can probably reuse.
Now, just gotta get that fan off!
Looks nice! What did that set you back? If you don't mind me asking? Just sizing?

It also helps if you have a strong arm to pump all the new trans oil in It even took me a long time!

Powerflex all the way! I have redone every single bushing in my car with powerflex and love it. They also give you a little guild on how to put the bushings in along with a pack of grease for every bush!

Ok UPDATE time. So after cooking my clutch down at eurohaus a few weekends back I am taking the car off the road for yet another overhaul. This time I will be replacing the clutch and flywheel along with the gearbox as im taking it out anyway to get to the clutch and I don't think that the gettrag 220 will handle the repower I have planned. Also planning to get new coilovers as my koni yellows have come to the end of their life . When it rains it pours! Anyway as for clutch and gearbox I have picked up a ZF 5 speed box and a stage 4 competition clutch kit w/ lighten flywheel. As for coils I’m unsure of what Brand/Setup to get. I will be tracking the car a fair bit but it’s still my daily. Any input on coils and setups would be good.
Will be starting the gearbox and clutch this weekend until then here are some pics

So after the eurohaus track day down in taupo weekend just gone my clutch is completely cooked (not sure how I made the 3 1/2 hour drive back home TBH). So i'm replacing it and at the same time replacing my gearbox as it too has seen better days. Im in need of the following parts.
ZF 5 Speed gearbox
ZF drive shaft or just the front part.
Not sure if i need a ZF shiftier linkage or if my current one from my gettrag 220 will work?
Think that's it thanks in advance

They make them in a 235/45/17 could you make that work?. I would imagine a 235/40/17 is quite hard to find in a good tyre?

I have RE003's on my cars and love them. Have really good grip in the wet and dry, reasonably priced, not to loud. For the street I don't need anymore tyre.

If all you want is to lower your car and make it feel a bit better on the street and you don't wanna brake the bank. Why don't you just buy lowering springs?

Is there a way we can change the colors? White on white with black writing is giving me a headache.Other than that its looking good!

BIG UPDATE! 23.07.16
Ok a lot has happened since I last updated, Will do my best to cover it all.
1:Had the rear trailing arms reinforcements welded in along with a few little jobs by SJ @ Apex Automotive Everything turned out well. The original plan was to get him to do the sub-frame reinforcements as well but due to unforeseen circumstances this did not work out. Pics of the trailing arms being welded.
2: As I am heading down to EuroHaus track day down in Taupo on august the 13th I needed/wanted to have my sub-frame reinforcements done by then as well. Not knowing when SJ was going to be able to do the sub-frame a friend of mine VERY kindly offed to do the welding for me which we have just finished tonight(23.07.16) Over all went really well. As pics will show we just put wet towels over the gas tank to stop any chance of blowing up myself along with my mates and my house. Worked out well only small problem was getting to the back side of the plates as the gas tank was still in but got there in the end. Rest of it was pretty straight forward just took out rear sub-frame and arms along with the back box , Rear seats and the carpet inside the car to stop any change of getting it on fire. Am VERY happy with the out come!
3 Had a small rocker cover leak and as i was taking the top off decided to repaint the cover in Heatproof black paint witches looks quite good!
4 Finally after waiting and debating for months whether to go for 18s 17s staggered or squared and so on found a set of wheels I am very happy with they are 17x8.5' ET30 all round.Running brand new RE003's Front 225/45/17 Rear 245/40/17 Overall very happy with fitment and looks. And already know Im going to love the RE003's as I have them on the e46.
Think this bring us upto date with the car. Next on the To-do list is.
LSD
New clutch
Put on the M3 Evo front brakes I have.
