Right. Another reason which I can think of is not to code/register the new after-market battery which I bought from SuperCheap Autos one and half years ago. Now, I experience more electrical problems like for instance, sometimes car does not start first time (but it starts on second time). Sometimes, after inserting the key fob, everything is jammed then I need to unplug/plug battery again as a quick fix workaround. Genuine battery was 90Ah where as this new battery is 95Ah, not much considerable difference though I guess. Thanks

Hi guys, Does anyone know any place in Wellington where I can get a CCC unit repaired. I have 330i 2006 E90 and its CCC unit keeps on restarting and stuck on the BMW logo. I am also hunting for a used CCC unit but no luck so far. Even, If I could able to get hold of one then it needs to be coded to match the VIN number. Would be great if anyone also posts about a place where I can get my BMW coded in Wellington, apart from the Dealership (they code only new units I assume). I don't mind taking my BMW to a buddy who does coding. Thanks.

Hi guys, Bought BMW 325i 3.0 in December 2016. Absolutely no issues when I drove it from Auckland to Wellington. After few days I noticed these issues in the BMW * annoying noise in the cabin when I drive the BMW * noise goes away when switch to N, in the middle of the driving (that what BMW guys said, they said could be transmission thing, but needs a transmission to hear the noise) * it runs very rough, not quiet, sounds like Diesel * ticking noise from the engine * Steering shakes when idle * Poor acceleration * Vibration through the pedals * Slow shifting of gears * drives uphill, engines misfires sometimes (Engine light came once) It used to drive very smooth, super quiet and powerful. I went to one of the European cars specialist in Wellington, they carried out diagnostic scan and no codes found in system, carried out live data test all OK, they suspect fault with cam followers and rockers rollers. Gave me a hefty quote to fix it, they said all rollers and lifters will need to be replaced, quoted me around $6000 Any suggestions, help would be appreciated. Any one had similar kind of issues with E90 325i?

Hi guys, I have bought 325i LCI 2010, it has USB in the glove box. Does anyone know about its usage? I tried it by copying some mp3 songs into the pen drive and plugged it but nothing turned up on the iDrive screen.

Great, thank you. I just worked out the cost of run flat tyres vs conventional tyres, 205/55/R16 Pirelli P7 run flat tyre costs around $297 each where as conventional tyres is $40 cheaper, so not a huge difference in the pricing. Good to know that M3 runs conventional tyres.
