    Offensive?

^ Read that & thought that was extreme, if motive was German origin of car. Haven't heard of any cases where Japanese cars are vandalized. Surprised original car hasn't been done over - he is in eastern Europe after all. I'm not interested in putting the sticker on my car, thats for sure! I'm American of Polish descent

Cheers Heath great summary. Luft = air, hence LUFT hansa/waffe. Caught my interest as I've seen quite a few German political symbols on Bmw's recently and wondered if this overstepped the line. Glenn, no offence caused and point taken. Certainly wasn't posting to start an argument.
  4. Sorry Bradd lost it. If you take to a mechanic, have them drive it around for a bit first. Not sure if yours does this but mine didn't start clunking until warm. Cheers.
  5. AFAIK there's more than one RC sub type and appearance. Check out the BBS wheel library on wikipedia which lists lots. For example, staggered 2 piece Style 29's are called BBS RC 041 (7.5")/ 042 (8.5) (example). Edit: ^ those concave's are choice btw
  6. Ok or not ok? Got my attention... Edit: Sorry no bigger pic, came from a overseas bimmer site.
  7. ^ +1 hawt I'd have one. Got these rims today, BBS Rc's (style 29's) in 16:
  8. Pretty sure it was a ball joint, I may still have the receipt (since sold car), can check for you tonight.
  9. Had this, same noise, took to mechanic, lower control arm mount, new arm, $200 = solved.
  10. @rich did you read the thread? Thats not the issue being discussed.....he wanted a standard $45 re-surface and got billed for extra unquoted work. Clinton's answer is on the money. At the very least get an itemized list, and at this point I'd only deal with the Manager, not the first guy to answer the phone. Good luck & keep posting.

    McBumdubs!

    Good stuff man lookin' fresh!
  12. His build thread is here. Style 5's from E31 8 series.
  13. Cheers Simon. Thought it was a very easy one to use.
  14. BIG BANG BIG BOOM - the new wall-painted animation by BLU
  15. Flame me if this is a repost, but thought I'd share this calculator with y'all: http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp It calculates the new inner and outer position so you can get out there with your tape and measure it up
  16. QUOTE: Damn you, I was planning on making my style 5's look like that. This picture is definately up there in the "inspiration" folder. I don't even have wheels yet so it ain't claimed or anything. Might end up with style 42's or ACS type II's: Love that rat rod looking silver sedan too. Plenty of sick E36's on the interweb...
  17. Haha no its not mine but mine has the same kit, color, & coupe minus wheels & side mirrors and plus M Heckspoiler. Bought it two days ago. Plan is definitely to make it like that! I'll whack some photos up soon of mine as is (on bottlecaps at mo). Edit: Measured against a curb and it ain't that low. Front lip is 120mm up
  18. Cheers, na it ain't that sacked, will have to see the stance once I've got wheels. Same kit and color tho.
  19. Bottom one is what I'm working towards with new whip....just need wheels and mirrors
  20. V nice. Wonder when it was "restored" by SD European? Last time I called them for E30 parts (July '10) I was told "MATE we send all that stuff to scrap"
  21. Damn, I watched a clip on you tube last night - e36 with modified Z3 bonnet to fit, looked almost exactly like your photoshop. Didn't look good because the eyelids partially covered the lights. Can't find the link now tho.... +1 on painted vertical strips.
