no dont do that!!! your 90%. find somebody who will finish it the cheapest, then sell it if you still want to, unfinished projects sell for very little on trademe. you will get more to finish minus the completion cost than you will selling as is on trademe.

Well, the BMW ended up having to get all the central locks taken out because they were completely seized and so its back to the old school pick and click locks. Got the windows all working so I'm stoked about that and the head units completely gone lol so a few stuff to get. $400 all up and apparently another $400 to get central locking back in.

instead of another 400 for central locking couldnt you just buy an alarm with keyless entry, i can imagine itd be cheaper

a bit off topic but i have a story to tell that i think will make anyone who would ever consider drinking and driving think twice...

im only 16 , and just before christmas i knowingly got in the car with a driver(my best mate) who i knew was under the influence.

i know, stupid mistake....

we made it about 200m down the road when we hit a parked car, slid 25m uphill and rolled twice .

we were both wearing seatbelts(luckily) and just missed a lampost.

the car we were in ( a 1990 peugoet gti ) was completly crushed and both of us walked out with minor scrapes an bruises. the officers who attended the crash said they have never seen two people so lucky and by all accounts we should both be dead.

i dont know if anyone wanted to know or cares but i learnt young. NEVER EVER DRINK AND DRIVE.

im 16 and in the 3 months ive had my e30 ive been pulled over 7 times. seems to be a cop magnet for a young guy like me. everytime ive been pulled over they just check licence, reg wof and sometimes tyre tread, nothing else ...i highly doubt theyd ever check the width of the wheels against the lvv cert , or care if they did realise. i wouldnt worry about it. youd have to be super unluckly to get fined...

Theres 3 nice e30 m3s on trademe at the moment, depends how much you have to spend... i would get the evo if i had the money but thats just me!

i managed to buy some new seat material from SD European... was hard to find as my material is quite rare.. then got quoted 280 from an auto-upolster to fix the rips in the seat but it still looks a little weird as the original material has faded.
