Hi guys, has anyone here imported a BMW from Japan? Having a look at auctions at the moment, prices are obviously attractive as is but once you factor in freight, on roads, compliance etc etc, do you still end up better off? Good/bad experiences? Risk/reward ratio? Seems like a fun idea on paper but I feel as though everyone would be doing it if it straight forward. any feedback from anyone who’s gone through this process would be appreciated! cheers

Hi guys, Looking at putting my 2009 335i 6 speed manual on trademe in the coming weeks but thought I would list it here first to see if any members/enthusiasts are interested. I have owned this for just over a year now and have bought another vehicle. Was used as my daily driver for the better part of my ownership. It’s travelled 121,000ks and the water pump has not yet been replaced. Mechanically it is standard apart from an upgraded charge pipe. I was tempted to tune it but wasn’t too fazed as it’s a fun car to drive as is. Has been serviced frequently to keep up with the mechanical warranty and it’s just got a WOF last week. Wheels wont be everybody’s taste but I like them. They’re 19x8.5 vertini magic wheels, tyres with good tread all round. It has a boot lip and a roof spoiler to give it a bit more shape and it has LED angel eye headlights too. I will be including the standard Motorsport suspension and I’m happy swap the wheels with some style 193’s if you prefer the OEM look. Wanting $26,000 ONO. Thanks

I do agree $20k is very far fetched. I should add those that are up for sale, the prices are all over the place hence my reason for the post

Hi all, My mrs is looking at parting with her 123d in the near future but we’re not too sure what to ask as there’s not too many for sale to base off. it’s a 2008 Motorsport and has done 170,000ks. Body is straight, paint is perfect, interior is immaculate and good service history. Any indication on pricing would be much appreciated! Thanks

$600 ONO Selling a set of staggered style 63’s that I bought for my e91 but didn’t fit as I imagined. 3 tyres are ok, and 1 will need replacing before being driven on. Pick up will be northwest Auckland

Can anyone recommend someone/somewhere that can source interior trims for an e92? Currently have the wood trim but much prefer the silver look (or any other look for that matter). Thanks in advance

Hi all New member here but have been driving 3 series since the word go. Daily driving my 09 335i 6M currently and am loving every minute of it. Would be interested to see what others are on here Also have an e91 on trademe for sale too if anyone is interested.
