  4. Thanks I've dropped them an email. Hopefully they can colour match to my carpets
  5. Has anyone ordered any brand new floor mats for their E30? RHD seems hard to find online. Help?
  6. Hi - I have an M325i with the original steering wheel. I'm keen to keep the wheel as I want to keep the car original, but the leather is quite worn. Does anyone know anyone in AKL who reconditions these things? Or am I better to try and find a replacement? Help!
  7. Lovely car. Someone should Buy Now!
  8. Looks fantastic. My M325i is in pretty good condition but there are a bunch of parts I could replace to get it looking nicer including respraying the front bumper. Sorta tossing up whether I'll do it or not...kinda go on and off the idea. Nice car you have _b
  9. Nice job - looks great. How did you get the black trim on the outside of the doors looking so good? Did you replace many parts in the restoration?
  10. That's my friend Harrison's. Here are some pics of our cars together (before he got his plate). http://cl.ly/300Y2h032n0e111r1w3u http://cl.ly/0c360V2h3C2u0A2K1C3O http://cl.ly/3L2e2c3J470t1D3m0V07 http://cl.ly/1u163116243Q1f2M2v35 http://cl.ly/0g1b3q3J0M1l0m0b1f3g http://cl.ly/0G3Q020B2o1b2a12453N
  11. The letter from the LTNZ said they'd received a Police report that my car had non-standard plates and that I risked exposing myself to a $500 fine. When an officer pulled me over for the plates (he was following me on the m-way quite by chance etc) he was friendly about it but said I must change them or risk a $150 fine (so not sure what the real amount would be). He was actually quite sympathetic but said if I wanted that look I had to pay the $799 at LTNZ or risk a fine. I'd say it's probably on my record now so better change them. Sadness.
  12. That was me BYF100 Need to change my plates. Received a letter and a friendly word from a friendly officer.
  13. Hi guys/girls, I'm looking for some good condition items for my E30 M325i. - cigarette lights plug - floor mats - original steering wheel (M) - original shifter (M) - M badge (front) - rear window (driver's side) with shadowline trim (not chrome) Many thanks! $POA etc
  14. You're right, the US-thing makes it less than perfect. Still on the lookout, but I bought an E30 M325i that I love.
  15. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-338483182.htm Looks great. Looks like the best one on Trade Me atm.
  16. Ha! Looks like I got owned on price then. I thought $180 for a set, plus mounting plates plus shipping was a good deal, but I suppose I was comparing it to the LTNZ plates which are $799 I think.
  17. Thought I'd show off my new plates for my E30 M325i Bought from http://germanplates.com/ and shipped via Fedex to NZ within 7 days for less than $180 all-up including mounting brackets. Highly recommended if you want to dress up the look of your car for not a lot of money. Will let you know if I get any grief from the Police!
  18. The interior was not hounds tooth. Sorry not sure what it was, but def not hounds tooth.
  19. I viewed this car in the weekend for fun. The paint is amazing, and overall the condition is great, but $22,500? Really? I'll be interested to see what they get for it. I personally wasn't a big fan of the interior, or the wheels.
  20. All the NZ-new E30 M3s were imported into the country (brand new) and converted to RHD. All E30 M3s were LHD out of the factory.
  21. I could be wrong, but I think that might be Dylan's old car? He is a member on this site.
  22. I did! But couldn't find the right one for me. I picked up a great E30 M325i which I'm very happy with What are you driving now?
