Ok New Topic, Profanity! I'm going to be working in a shop, so I should probably know when I'm being called something. also I don't want to accidentally tell grandma to F off. so is the normal American piece sign ok to use or steer away? (index and middle finger extended in the shape of a v and palm towards self) Also any job opening that anyone may know of in the south island relating to Auto, diesel, or industrial repair please let me know! thanks all! Bryan

I have a full A/C system for sale/trade I currently live in America, but will be moving down to the south island end of this year, just in time for spring. let me know if your interested, before I put up ads here in the US. 1987 325, full mounting hardware and if your close to me when I get down there I'll even help you install. all reasonable offers entertained will trade for some parts. need IAC, stock radio, 9 button comp, O2 sensor harness thanks, Bryan

I really fancy a 3M clear Bra more protection than a leather and you can't see it, no fade and you don't have to worry about moisture!
-
let me know it needs to go by April 2nd

-
usually with denatured alcohol but this time with something called b-12 chem tool it is much like sea foam....
-
cleaning the ICV is what caused this to start happening in the first place... no vacuum leaks (tested with smoke machine) and like i said it's only when it gets hot.... any other ideas... I'm going to see if I can borrow someones I know and see if that is the problem....
-
Nice sounds like a typical American weekend.... BTW WTF are manskins? (I was watching more L&p commercials...)
-
seem to not want to idle correctly when it gets to tempature... otherwise idles fine... right up untill it gets to twmp then it starts doing the loop errrrr( noise climbs until about 1200 RPM) then drops like itts going to die and climbs back up from 500-700 range... errrrrr ahh errrrr ahh errrr ah errrr ah over and over and over..... but only AT operationg temp... I did some tests let me know what you guys think and we can go from there..... THANKS!! F.G.

Ari gold LOL at FNG good one!! and I dabble in R3V but mostly just a lurker... phatputer, nice link thank you :-) antil33t I understand that I could get all these answers on my own but I appreciate the uniquely kiwi view on the subject matter, as well as it seems to be a good time for everyone... Westy LOL at Chundered!! I have never heard that before!! that swandri doesn't look as bad as those other ones... but with stubbies .... IDK on stubbies I'm totally relieved that that is not a current fashion trend alrighty so fashon outta the way it's coming into summer about now for you all, which means... Caravans (motorhome) jandles what are some things you guys like to do... F.G.
-
LOL!! this stuff is great! westy those jackets are terrible looking!!!... looks like a Scotts man threw up (got sick I think is your term) Bravo, I'm lovin all this stuff! there is a lot here that is a lot more fun to explain than it is to live with because of ordinarity Jandles makes a lot more sense.... so stubbies are still predominate for the older generation or do you guys wear them too (I am assuming that you all are younger like me (24)) also would I have to buy a pair or can I get away with it because I'll have a "funny accent" Thanks again guys, I'm still laughing about stubbies.... and thinking about bravo's dad made me a little made me a little queasy Next questions are: is L&p a beer? yes some one please tell me what "taking the piss" means my curiosity has been piqued!!
-
ok the burn out video and the stubbie video both had me in the isle!! I like how right at the end of one some one says "thats how you do it on the west side" :-) LOL!! ok so stubbies are rediculas short shorts worn by westys and also a can of beer... jandles are rubber sandles here (straps or no straps) as well as thongs and a swandri is some kind of jacket ... the more I learn the more I'm going to like it there! it's pure entertainment! plese tell me that no one really wears stubbies anymore..... (lol @ comes in brown and a one size too small... lol) ok any suggestion of things I should know?

ok I've got some more :-) I was just perusing one of simons links and ran across this article which is funny as hell, http://www.kiwianarama.co.nz/winter-what-winter/ and there were some curious clothing references... 1: Sawardi? 2: Stubby shorts (really short shorts I'm guessing, nothing to do with small apendages I hope) 3: jandles (sandeles I'm guessing and why with a J) 4: is being barefoot really a big thing? I know i could look all this up, but it's so impersonal, and besides it will give you all a good laugh at me and I get to have a variety of different explanations :-) Cheers :-)
-
LOL!!! thats all really funny!! thanks simon for the links I lol'ed at the great unwashed and when I saw Gaz's .gif the guy moon walking made me laugh for a solid 30 seconds :-) Blackie where I come from there is definatly a diffrance from white trash and redneck... however this whole westie thing... is that area of auckland kinda rough or are you guys just beating up on some of the members from there? good thing I'm not a bogan, I fall (as I have been told) "more towards the preppy with out the douche bag..." to which I replied " ... uhhh thanks?" I have more questions but it always seems like whenever I sit down to ask them I can't think of any... Hope everyone in christchurch is holding up still after this last round... Kinda weird to think I'll be there in a year almost exactly.... thanks again!
-
ok so this is a thread where I'm going to ask stupid questions, feel free to beat me up a little when there really stupid :-) ok first one... what the heck is a bogan? Thanks guys :-)

No worries jacko I have been busy, I'm going to be in a TV series on MTV so I've been busy aswell, IDK about my car being pre facelift...? I'm sorta new to the E30 scene (not cars just e30's) I believe I have a G240 and I'll definatly look into just having it surfaced it has 214,000 miles (sorry don't know Klicks yet) on it I just hope its still good, I'm getting a new trans probably a g240 again and of course a new clutch... center bearing is probably not a bad idea either.... hows everything going in Christchurch? (general question) F.G.
-
OK, car is a 87 325 (its of the E kind and prod date is 7/86) so I have done some research (both on site and through google) and have found that there is no real market for a Lightweight flywheel Questions: 1: is this true? 2: can I use a single mass and lighten that or is there a sensor that is dependent on it. 3: how light can I go 4: is there another car manufacture that has Lightweights that we can use in our cars, such as toyota or something? 5: which car has which size I know one is bigger than the other... Thanks in advance! F.G.

thanks guys!!! even though its the 13th already there :-P

Hey all, So in my efforts to move down there I have come across the need for the service managers and the maintance managers email address, so I can submit my resume to them so they can hire me... Feel free to PM them to me or email either one would really put me further along than where I am now! Cheers,
-
Grant, Yes it's is a very difficult and expensive job moving there. I have to apply and then be screed several diffrent times, just for application. then I have to submit my resume` and be interviewed , and have a job offer. I have currently been working on this process for over a year now, and I have even had to change careers in order to even be elligable to move... Hard yes, impossiable... please, that is going to make Victory that much sweeter. tell me I can't and I will try me hardest to make sure it happends. Sucessful people all have this attitude, and It seems that quite a few people have this attitude on this forum! I love the fight for it! yes to it being expensive I'm looking at about $18,000 USD just to move my crap not even in taxes once I reach Lylleton (sp) Fear not for your lord, God is with you (joshua: something, Something) :-) I also noticed a bunch of people asked to be my friend on Facebook, pretty cool you guys :-)
