    World Cup

The Dutch have it in the bag against the spanish... Look at how aggressive they are playing! I think it's going to be extrodanary! Now if only America could get behind rally and f1....
  3. ya I can understand that, I don't know where about I'll be going I want close to the mountains on either side... the port or the airport... of course I'll probably end up somewhere I can afford.
  4. I'll see what I can Dig up... any of you are more than welcome to hit me up on face book Bryan Vette I have some pics on there. I'll try to find some... I want to join a soccer (futball) team when I move down there am I consididered in the seniors? I'm 23 I'll be almost 24 when I move.
  5. @cliff... I think I had heard that in passing but I didn't put the 2 together... thats kinda cool, and yes we pay out the nose for health care here..... @ glenn I have the main rifle from every major faction of WWII except japan. no fully auto, couple of hand guns, and a couple of shotties, most are bolt actions but I have a few semi auto's I didn't get a chance to do a TOD I was a Turbine engine Mechanic and no matter how much I volunteered, I was always considered too important to pull away from production. kinda a bummer I almost got to do boarder security on the edge of Syria... it would have been cool but what ever. My Wife and I are both from Colorado so the south is going to be a lot like home from what i can tell. in fact Christchurch being at the base of the mountains is a lot like Denver... truly really excited to move there!!
  6. ok, @ mark I am I Marine and just have an EXTENSIVE collection of high caliber rifles, shot guns, and the like. Very good Info thank you everyone! @ king Karl :-) I am planning to move to Christchurch for quite a few reasons, (nothing against the north) if I were to live in the north I would probably move to wellington, but Christchurch seems to be where I need to be going. I am going to be working for the BMW dealer there (probably) I don't know yet obviously because they haven't hired me but I'm going to be going to the BMW school here in the States. beside that I do a bit of day trading on the stock market and make a fair bit of money on the side, I defiantly plan on bringing as much as I can :-) don't mean to sound whinny about taxes I haven't experienced them that high since I was in Europe last... @ hotwire, My hood opens to about 70 degrees or so I have seen a lot of pics where ppls are vertical and it would be ALOT easier to work on crap in there if I could get to it, as of right now I just un-pin it and VERY gently let it rest forward on the grill, I dont like it but thats why I'm looking for other options. Thanks everyone about the location of that sensor I know I have some chewed wires but I haven't been able to get to that section of the car.
  7. well it's good to know about the guns I admittedly was a little worried. 12.7% !!!!!!! good lord is that on all things sold or rendered? I would assume so.
  8. ok, so as I don't live there yet... I have some questions on things pertaining to your fair Country, and just some questions on my E30 as I haven't been with the community long. 1.) what EXACTLY is a WOF and what is Inspected.... 2.) my hood doesn't open as far as I would like and I was told there was a simple mod that I could fo to make it open more something about changing out the arm for a longer one? 3.) my on board comp (the one in the dash not under the glove compartment) dose not display the correct temperature I have checked the Intake air temp and it works fine I have also looked at wiring diagrams that give me no help. so does anyone know where this sensor gets it's info from because I can assure you that it is not -30 C out when it is in fact about 41C out. 4.) whats up with gun laws... are guns liked or tolerated, special permits? whats the deal. 5.) taxes, on what food, gas, road, transportation, power, probably everything Right? 6.) I'm sure I'm forgetting something just fill me in on anything you think pertinent Thanks everyone!!! F.G.

    m20 b25 noise

Hello, does it happened when it's hot or cold, in a certain gear? when did it start, did you do any changes or anything since or before the noise started?
  10. Why do you miss it? where are you now? BTW I'm going to start a new thread with the previous question THANK YOU ALL FOR THE WARM WELCOME!!! I look forward to seeing you all soon!
  11. I'm pretty fed up with the heat as of right now... so a nice cold summer sounds good. Although the north does have some very nice things... we'll see I have a while till anything happens, and it really depends on where I get a job! @Grant I'll definitely, be sending some PM's your way! it's kinda funny with the time difference, I don't get to write but once a day. so everyone What are your favorite roads?
  12. Sweet!!! Great Info! I really appreciate it, and the cool weather won't bother me a bit :-) I guess there are some really fine people here they can just be so close minded sometimes, but when you stop and think about it, there are some really good ones too. thats anywhere though I would presume.... my Cousins are out in Nebraska and when I was little I would call it the wave state because everyone, EVERYone waves :-) I'm so excited to be coming down there! its going to be 112 F tomorrow here and I'm so not lookin forward to that my 325 dosn't have any A/C so it's ultra nasty :-(
  13. Wow thanks everyone! good to see grant on here! I was in Diego for a bit... I guess the very fact that if your an American and trying to contact anyone outside the US that makes you much less a Dbag than every other American I know... Were trying to move to Christchurch (the garden city I believe) lookin at places over in Harewood.... just for now, but we are also trying to maybe get into a commercial property maybe a warehouse that is alive in or something. Also looking at Wellington but we like how the south Island reminds us of CO with all of its umm.... tramping and outdoor stuff. I'm just really excited for our future! that and its like 130 F which is like 46 or 47 for you guys... so how is the speed limit down there? I regularly do ~ 130K or so (80 MPH) and I like my diving boards... for now... unless someone wants to gimmie some euro bumpers :-) Bryan

  16. Good Morning everyone, First of I'm going to sound American really quick by saying that I hope you all wont view me as a typical American. I understand that Americans are not liked around the world and for good reason! However I have been to many different countries and understand how pompous and arragant, fat and lazy, entitled and demanding they tend to be. in fact I don't like it anymore than anyone else in the world, and hence the reason I have decided to pack up my family and move out of the country! I'm still torn about leaving because I will be leaving my entire family as well as my home from which I love (born and raised in Aurora Colorado, its right next to Denver). so enough about that... I will be happy to entertain any and all questions pretaining to any I know about. A little about me: Like I said I was Born and raised in Aurora and absolutly love it there, I graduated High school (you have an equivalant name that I can't remember right now) recieved avrage grades (marks I believe) did rather poorly in english (as I'm sure you are well aware by now ). then I joined the United States Marine Corps and built Jet engines specalizing in the T58-GE-16/16A for the Ch-46 Sea Knight I have done 5 years active duty Never once getting deployed (still torn about that for different reasons). I was stationed at MCAS Miramar (where the movie top gun was filmed) the entire time. Grew to really love San Diego. Right around the time of me getting out I realised that my Wife and I had Recieved a calling from God to Move to New Zealand. Now about here I expect you to quit reading.. and I don't blame you. Callings from God are usually related to mass suicide and bombings and stuff like that. I can assure you that I'm not a loon (crazy person not the canadian Money :-) ) the simple fact of the matter is that for over a year very, VERY strange conicidancs sorrounding the move have continued to arise. now whether it be God or not, I can not ignore the overwhelming evidance to move to your Beautiful Country. now as a personal policy I will not try to convert any of you to Christians for several different reasons, but mostly because it's rude.... I am now at Universal Technical Institute, studying to be a Automotive, Diesel, Industrial Technician with a specialization Porsche and BMW. I plan to graduate and Move in aprox. one year. Now than if your still reading this, I hope that I can change your opinion about americans (at least some of us) for the better, and I hope to be a useful and productive member of this forum and for your country. Sincerly, F.G. P.S. I'm open to any corrections in word useage and coustums! thanks again everyone for what I hope will be a warm welcome to New friendship. also I am going to upload some photos as soon as I figure out why they wont upload...
