  1. OK cross that off the list then, that makes it easier sorted Regards
  2. Agreed to a point it can always be fun as it is... but isn't the point of modifying to make it more fun, more thrilling... Just the way I see it, I have the addiction to modify lol
  3. Funny enough I've never heard about it I'll have a look into it though, thanks
  4. None taken I just got excited when I knew there was people who could actually answer my questions and knew about it sorry :S
  5. Thanks Sorry lol got excited
  6. Yes it was the silver one there, they've fixed up all the rest should be ready tommorow morning, replaced the seals and its had a fresh rebuild I didn't see too much wrong with it , if you did can you tell me what so I can fix it? Lol I forgot to mention they're both automatic the Soarer is a non turbo 2jz, and the WRX is stock standard one of the older ones like a v1 non STi.
  7. Oh , well if I bought the block and bolted it straight to the m20 head (731) would that be sufficient or would I need more work?
  8. Yea lately its not too bad just Fckn cold.
  9. I forgot about that part standard WRX non STi, and funny enough no not the 1jzgte or the V8 but my mates 250hp VVTI 2JZGTE. Very respectable motors I bought the e30 to drive around for a while, then I was going to purchase the twin turbo Soarer, but I fell for this and to be honest I like the purity over the Soarer technological and luxurious perks. And yes the 2jz was trying, only just beats it, his is auto btw. Thank you, sweet please message me when there is, very keen. Regards
  10. I've asked the tuning shop and he said to go with a 288 degree cam exhaust and 276 degree inlet if that puts it more straight foward?
  11. Hey, yes it is a very fun car, lots of power from such a small light weight shell ! Well the cars silver in colour, fresh rebuild only done 800km, chrome euro trim, completely standard so far apart from some ugly looking 17'' 7 spoke mags, lowered, a larger exhaust with the 325i whole exhaust system and thats about it. When I got the car I completely stripped the interior and dash to check it out as it was pissing down with rain for at least a week here in Christchurch and the rear carpet under the drivers seat was soaked. Found out it was a leaking sunroof, ripped out all the carpet and tar (boot etc) and found several rust spots which was surface so I cleaned it up primed and repainted them; but then to my horror I found a spot of rust IN THE FIREWALL to my big disgust that had eaten through! So at the moment I've sent it back to the dealer I bought it from and all the rust is being repaired as well as the leaking seal. Apart from that the car is in good nick, but first week I had the car some prick decided he would coin it! a**hole! So overall it was quite a good deal for 5grand And yea I have that too but mine starts to take off at about 2-2.5 rpm but is still very fun . P.S beats Toyota Soarers and standard WRX's Regards Will post pics this weekend when my baby gets back
  12. Well it originally was Australian new so possiblyregards
  13. Kelford cams I've heard they are quite good, and thought it might come in handy in the long run when it's turbo? how do you know? lol Regards
  14. For the mean time just an uprated m20b23 then later a turbo conversion and if I can find a 2.7 block a 2.7 turbo The first option sounds good where do I buy the mintex pads?
  15. I was thinking about the stroker 2.7 I've heard about parently its quite robust torquey and has power?
  16. Yeah , South Island Rules wOoo
  17. That's good then haha should be helpful
  18. Hi, just wondering how much power and if it is worth while to get, hotter cams put in my M20B23, Extractors, 325i Inlet Manifold and a tune? At the moment the engine is relatively fresh it has done 1200km or less and I am happy with the car, but I would like to push performance higher down the naturally aspirated road just for a while, until I feel I may have to go with forced induction. Thank You For Your Time
  19. Hello to all, just wanting to know if the "Zimmermhann Cross-Drilled And Slotted Rotors" were worth the price $400 (FRONT PAIR) and the "Zneolli Slotted Rotors" worth $350 (REAR PAIR) are a worthwhile upgrade? Also along with this which brake pads bite quite well I'm having trouble finding any? And what 4pot calipers fit the e30 as I would like to upgrade the brakes early in the project. Thanks
  20. Hi there I'm new here to this forum and I was just wanting to know if any one can give me an answer if I should get the cams reground to a hotter version. m20b23 engine just had a rebuild under 1200km ago Thanks
