Somebody correct me if I am wrong: The idle problem is caused by changing the distance of the AFM from the intake manifold. Moving the filter away from the AFM makes no difference as there is still air accessible - i.e. beteen the filter and the AFM. However if you move the AFM, the AFM is now further away from where it was tuned to sit and therefore causing problems when idling. May also be issues with the ICV and AFM Well thats my intuition.

still... you want it to be secure. Ive had my fair share of trouble with it, and make sure repositioning doesnt cause the ICV to be in a funny position either. mind you i got a reverse manifod on my e28 so things might be a little different. be sure to post pics when you done.

AHAHAHAHAHA this is such a pile of sh*t... funny he got decent feedback about it but it must be psychological. simple physics, the only thing powering this thing is air, so I have no idea how the hell he expects to generate more airflow, you cant just create faster airflow. its just a simple fan that you blow on and spins.

I presume its the same with any car/bmw. Have a look for a panel on the bottom of your front kit. There should be a removeable small panel or something of the sort that will open up or that you can take off and the tow hook will be behind. If you want to tow it on the back of a tow truck then the truckie will be able to find it for you
