Hey,I owned a 518i.... I'm guessing it had the same engine as the 318i... i dont know wasnt much into it then.... But I had my exhaust worked over and did everything above: replaced the cat with a nice short resonater and put a Rage DTM square tip muffler on it. Was the nicest sound I hear a n/a car make... When I took it for warrant the grumpy old man from accross the street told me it was too loud and it sounded like a race car... so we chopped off the muffler and put a big fat standard one on it. Anyway... replace the cat with a resonater and also why don't you think about a pod filter... would make it sound a bit throatier wouldn't it? I definately reckon go with the DTM style muffler tho

Hahaha.... well if you're talking about racing.... and if I leave now.... and you get this in the morning... then you'll still beat me... and I'll have driven all that way for nothing! bem-on is pretty keen to grab some parts too. I gave topless a call earlier this afternoon and arranged to pick it up sometime next monday, and also arranged to meet bem-on on the way back.... as its the earliest I can do it with uni and work.

Looks like this thing is getting very popular... Myself and a guy from palmy are keen to rip it up for parts for our cars... Where are you located Rod? Maybe you wanna join the fun? Sharing is caring haha

Hey, Im Udit, if its still up for grabs id love to take it off you... use it as a parts car for my m535i.... could definately use some trim and a bit more.....

Right now my e28 m535i... btw sparkle where are those pics u said you show me? before that.... wait for the scandal... THE ONLY 1 OF A KIND BMW (in nz... I think).......... means it should be worth HEAPS!!!....... BMW e34 5.....18i .... yes a 518i.... four whole cylinders Served me well.... good old stockings on the rear lights.... plus had a nice fat dtm style exhaust on it... sounded good and before that: Peugeot 405srdt wagon Ford Ka (hahaha yes I KNOW)

Hi, Am looking for a manual diff to fit my E28 M535i. It was converted from automatic without the diff being changed which mean less power in the bottom end and a few seconds on the track!
