previous owner or a dodgy mechanic? Possible that your shocks had leaks etc Remember an E30 is hardly new Factory suspension obviously a lot cheaper than Bilsteins. For instance new bilsteins on the rear of my car were more than double the cost of Munroes. Didn't have much cash at the time so I went for the Munroes. Still got the old Bilsteins in case they can be restored.

Yup RWHP dynoed at the Chequered Flag in Petone I'm pretty sure I'm the low compression engine. Previous mechanic said so and therefor reckoned I should nos it (yea..... sure) I think previous owner chipped it too. Also the whole exhaust under the car is modified. CAI. And thats about it. Best way to have it played around with is on the dyno otherwise you can't really tell what the outcomes are (coz you can measure any differences). plus Mike from the Surgery stuck a suprise decal saying "World's Fastest Indian" on the back... thats good for about 10HP

Hey Guys, My car has been having its extractors operation over the last week. I went to go have a look at them today and they look really good. Unfortunately I didn't have a camera to take photos but they told me they had taken photos throughout so I will post those hopefully tomorrow (with some of my own) Its also getting Dynoed (and A/F Ratio optimised) tomorrow. I thought i would post you guys my Dyno from November last year which was done solely to measure the difference in output the extractors would give me. There have been no engine modifications since. Just Brakes Before Extractors: Green line measures original, Red line is after A/F ratio was played with. Dyno Results from after extractors will be posted tomorrow evening (if all goes well). Those of you at Manfield on Sunday be sure to come have a look/drool EDIT: Torque measured in NM (LHS graph) - remember to divide by diff ratio? 3.07

that would be the idea lol.... ummm im getting them from Germany. I somehow found a guy through another guy in the U.S. Doesn't sell them online though. He's on holiday and when he gets back I should be finalising the deal. After he gets back I'll post up his contact for you guys. (I lost his email :banghead: )

yea... you just drive up the price before the closing minutes. Those who are genuinely interested are online in the closing minutes and likely to get it for much cheaper otherwise EDIT: autobid OK if you cant make the closing minutes obviously

Ok looks like its the RS on the cards at the moment. I've got some in line. set me back a fair penny though. still waiting to hear back from the guy, hes on holiday so hopefully next week.

Bus costs me $7 return. But I have to take into acct my traveling around wellington, i.e. to coach hockey etc etc. Bus = too time consuming. My plan is to buy a motorbike, save on parking and petrol It should hopefully pay itself off by next year easy.

haha it will be done. whats putting me away from the style 5s is that in 18" tyres are more exp. and also that they may look too big? also i think RS has better lines for the e28 but then again is 18" too big or not? At the moment im also trying to figure out which one has more dish. anyway, I should finalise deal this month but I won't be able to afford tyres till next month, and im also saving for a repaint so I may even wait for that to be over and for the tyres to be slicks on my current hockenheims before I get tyres for them. So you lot may not even get photos for a while....

now im not sure if that is RS on the bottom.. anyone with a better pic of an rs on an e28? heres one of it on an e21 (stole from another topic) btw thats the kind of colour i may go for down the line. sorry about all the pics!
