The other day at work I asked a one-armed girl if she needed a hand

Usually they just install for like $50, how much did you get charged?

accurate or not.... it only tells you your consumption at that very point of time so if youre a pussy you can use it to optimise your driving (gear choice etc) at that very point in time according to the conditions. But theres no way I'd be using it to calculate the average fuel consumption just from the readings on the gauge. If it was accurate it would be moving VERY quick back and forth.

Regardless of people hating the style etc etc - its not like if anyone on this forum had oodles of money that they wouldn't consider buying one. Or if they were asked if theyd like a free test drive that they would reject it... so you all love it anyway regardless. Commodore from the front VW Passat from the rear

Hey Guys. Driving up to Manfield on Sunday my car started to stutter around Mana. Found that the AFM had been blown off by a backfire (didn't know why it had backfired at the time) - have had this problem once before. So reattached that and it was all good till I got to Pukerua Bay - Car started to stutter again and then switched off. Couldn't work out the problem with my stoneage tools - Called AA discovered the electronic ignition system had failed?? Anyone point me in the right direction on working out a remedy... or would it be better to see the auto electrician on this one? Cheers

Thats gold...... Confession: I once nicked (and wasted) a bottle of Dom Perigon out of my dads booz cabinet not knowing its price..... since then I have maintained that no such bottle ever existed.

That tape around the lights - streamlining or for disguise?

Would be louder & deeper note... Depends on whether or not you have a factory or "performance" muffler.

What will the F stand for?

I hear your pain - mine lasted 40 laps of Manfield. Didn't last on the drive back to Wellington though

rookie mistake. The first time I lost my vodafone phone I opted for $7 monthly phone insurance. Since then: - drowned 1 phone down a toilet - lost one phone on the ski slopes - smashed the screen of 1 phone - broke the screen of another phone - keypad gave up on one phone (im very accident prone) so whats the big deal? every time you claim on phone insurance (for whatever reason) excess is $125 - they replace it with the same model phone, or if it was an older model which isnt available anymore they give you a better quality one or its new replacement (which is better quality anyway) IMO its honestly worth it if you are on a contract and your phones wear down heaps (misuse) or if you're just plain careless - and especially if you're looking at an expensive phone. $125 excess as a replacement for a $800 phone is better that 25% percent off

i hate them. i saw a parking warden stand next to a car at uni once and wait for 5 whole minutes JUST so they could issue a ticket.

not sure if its the same as the e28, apparently the rear switches are wired up in series with the front ones, so it could need new switches - last time i had to keep pulling out switches from the right to the left just to put the window down. Anyway this was just in case cleaning the switches didnt work out

IMO e30 isn't 1920s enough for them

IMO what people want to do with their car is their own business and should not be analysed and criticised unless of course it is illegal or dangerous. and besides, whats to say that down the line they may not replace it with something better?
