Yeah i have heard you cant really go wrong with the Toyota and people seem to think the 3.0 diesel turbo are a great motor with heaps of pull and reliability. could be keen on Nissan options as well. http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/...n-397734204.htm don't know too much about the above model, if anyone has any info on these it would be appreciated.

Hey Looking at buying a 4x4 truck for going camping, towing the boat and race car around this summer. looking for a bit of advice as to what models to watch out for and what are reliable wagons to go with. will be used off road on beaches ect.. I owned a 1994 jeep cherokee 4.0l before i brought the bmw but am looking for something i dont have to worry about as much and something not as thirsty. Have heard that the Toyota surf diesels are a good option but what model to go with? Also will be looking at either selling or swapping my E36 as well. so if anyone could be interested in a trade or buying the car let me know. http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....c=30657&hl= thanks

Hi all, I have a unused set of performance shocks and springs to suit 1991-1999 E36 318i's I had brought these for my Ex-girlfriends 318IS a few years ago and never got used. Forgot all about them and found them in a clean out of the garage. Unsure of brand of rear springs but they match the size/height of super low JAMEX Website shows a drop of 1-1/4" 32mm http://www.tokicoperformanceshocks.com/pdf...w_Rez_Final.pdf Think i originaly paid around $600 for the set a couple of years back. I Would like to recover half of this and selling for $300 for the lot Product Description: The famous “Blue Shocks,†TOKICO’s HP Series continues to be the overwhelming choice of performance enthusiasts looking for the best in overall handling and ride quality. The HP Series typifies TOKICO’s damping philosophy and valving flexibility. By minimizing low-speed damping force and greatly increasing damping at medium and high piston speeds, HP shocks and struts optimize tire adhesion, handling precision and ride composure. The heart of TOKICO’s HP Series is its unique piston design. A multi-stage variable-aperture valve system features precise orifice control, creating the unique flexibility and accuracy of its damping response. The oil lubricant is also specially compounded to resist breakdown and minimize viscosity change as temperatures vary. A superior performance and traction upgrade with virtually no compromise in ride quality, TOKICO’s HP Series shocks and struts are also an ideal upgrade for vehicles with lowering springs and larger, heavier aftermarket wheels. Benefits of tokico’s aftermarket performance shocks and struts: Improved: Traction Stability Steering response Cornering ability Braking ability Superiors: Ride quality Shock and strut longevity Reliability Reduced: Body roll in corners Dive under braking Squat under acceleration Pitch during straight-ahead driving Suspension bottoming Precision Construction Pressure Tube is mandrel-drawn twice to ensure precise dimensional tolerances and concentricity, for excellent sealing and minimal dynamic friction (drag). Reduced Friction Teflon™ coated Piston Rod Guide minimizes dynamic friction and extends piston-rod life. Priston Quality Piston Rod is hardened, chrome-plated and micro-polished, for smooth operation and contributing to long seal life.

Thanks for the comments everyone! LSD made the car feel completly diffrent and with the diffrent ratio gives the car a bit more pull through the gears. I would highy recomend doing this before any other preformance upgrades. It was probly the best gain for money.

Really in need of a decent clutch set up, thinkin of M3 mirrors but kinda like the original square style. Maybe drop the front a bit more, have seen some US E36's with "french" headlights and fog's i reckon it looks pretty good so might give that a shot otherwise ill buy some umnitiza halo's. Any other suggestions?
-
Yeah 18" HAHA Yeah coudlnt see a store like his taking off in greymouth! He's also on trademe username: shoezez thanks
-
Umm yeah but i smoked them What did you do regarding the clutch?

Hi all, Been a while since ive posted and have done a bit to the car since last time. Put the 3:15 LSD in Best thing ever!! Fitted the M-pars, Jamex super lows, DEPO clear lights and tints by Seth. Already had the Remus and CAI. Also need to do a clutch upgrade and have heard about people fitting the M20 flywheel in place of the standard one. If anyone knows more about this or who can do it or other options i would appreicate it. I have two sets of FACELIFT clear side markers/indicators to suit E36. (had a trademe seller send me the wrong type twice!) Free if picked up. PM me please. Put up a couple of pics of my brothers new sneaker shop in Pt Chevalier arcade. he focus's on Nike and the likes and has a pretty good range of rare kicks. If anyone's keen tell him i sent you and he might be able to work a deal.
-
Bmworkshop grey lynn has most of them.

Have sent e-mail. Hopefully there's a spot left? Awesome deal! E36 coupe Thanks

Thanks guys. Ray is gonna sort it out for me once i get it out to him. As for the alarm... First thing i do when i get it back. Any suggestions on good alarms?

Hey Guys, Unfortunatly had some scum try and steal my car last night from my driveway right beside my bedroom window. They managed to smash the drivers side lock. Once inside they dismantled the underside of dash and had a play with the wiring. (no Alarm) Looks like they have ripped out part of the wiring and some of the wiring plug boxes. I have insurance but a $1000 excess. my question is what kinda price would i be looking at for a rewire under there? (can post pics once home) Car wont start and have to tow to get any quotes. Whos my best bet to go see? Why couldnt they get it to start though? does the E36 have a immobliser of some sort? Any help would be much appreicated. Thanks
