Ollie. I feel he is going to get a few requests!

It was this sticker( seriously, this sticker^) that saved a few of us from missing the rest of the bimmersport crowd on the weekend.
Left my ph at home so missed the txt saying the meeting place had changed..
Saw a tidy E30 with a Bimmersport sticker(see above) and knocked on his window. He was kind enough to tell me of the change of
plans. If it wasn't for the sticker I might have just let him drive off without asking. Cheers Andrew for winding down your window.
adding my name to the list of wanters..lol
Glad the sticker did its job as intended! Only put it on the night before too.

Spoiler on.
Rear end looking nice now.

Started poking around to see what needs to be attended to.
Ordered a whole bunch of stuff: New window washer pump, new coolant level sensor, brake pad wear sensors, LED bulbs for various lights, stainless steel brake lines, remote central locking system, complete air con setup and a new sunroof handle.
Also colour matched the rear bumper and repainted the black rubber strips. Whole days work prepping and painting. Need another spare day to do the front bumper.

Hi All,
Looking for some parts and this time of year is horrendous for shipping from overseas.
Left window regulator
Left door lock actuator
Anything in the lower north island area? Will be in upper north island over xmas/new year so may be able to pick up around then if anyone is still open/around.
Thanks

Hi All,
Looking for these parts if available new or second hand.
Preferrably in Titansilber Metallic (354) or otherwise primed and we can colour match.
5117890094 (Air Duct Cover Right Hand Side)
5117890098 (Fog Light Surround Right Hand Side)
Number 11 and 12 from this diagram.

Hi All,
The girlfriend has an E46 320Ci 2002 with 100000kms on the clock. Fairly nice car I enjoy keeping it looking clean and tidy
It has a little electrical niggle though. The radio will very occasionally stop working (ie turn off completely and can't turn it back on with the power button). To get it to come back we have to put either sun visor down, open the mirror so the light comes on and then the radio turns back on, every time without fail which is fortunate. Also I just recently noticed the airbag warning light sometimes comes on when the radio dies.
Any ideas on where this could be coming from? Is the airbag light possibly a common plug/wiring issue under the seat from what I have heard? Otherwise is anything from a diagnostic scan likely to pick this up from its point of origin?
Thanks,
Andrew

Hi Guys,
I have found a nice touring for sale and recognise it as one from here.
YY1227
I believe it was owned by Boyce, Maxmax and then e34play.
Just wondering if anyone can shed some light on where it has been since then?
I am trying to find out what work it had done on it by previous owners as the current owner has said it is factory manual and the speedo is in kms and I know this not to be the case. He claimed the engine and transmission were replaced 150000kms ago but unsure of this.
Any information would be helpful

Thats my mothers old E30. I learnt to drive in it she owned it from 200000km-225000km. Someone has manual converted it.
Was up on TradeMe a little bit back. Look carefully in the photod the rear left has some nice (drifting?) damage. Door and wheel arch are nicely dinged up.

Higher grade E30. M325 would be my next purchase of a bimmer.
Always working towards ownership on an M3

Well the old girl was sold on Saturday and has gone back up to Auckland with the new owner. Hopefully he gets as much enjoyment out of it as I have had, as well as the frustrations!
I will hopefully own a beemer in the future but I will be saving up for something of a higher grade.

Hi All,
Thought I'd make a thread to document what I'm going to be attempting to do. Have purchased a complete air con system and going to install it.
It may take a while but here we go to kick things off.
Added the switch just to make myself feel good about having all the bits in the garage.
Installed the condenser and aux fan infront of the radiator.
Waiting on some relays and wiring for the aux fan and have ordered an R134A Expansion Valve. For those of you who don't know, NZPost does a good mail redirection service from the US so you can take advantage of free US shipping.
