  1. Had a look today.

Auto is in much better nick. ~160000mls.

Minimal rust (none it seems on the firewall or sunroof panel or drains) except for tail gate where there is a rather large area on the bottom. Few dents but easy enough to take care of. Front seats are torn but have covers. Front windows electric and electric sunroof, rear windows manual. Dash cracked a fair amount. Has had a few things fixed like a front right strut replaced, alternator belt and cambelt just today. Standard ride height on standard 14" bottlecaps.

    Manual has ~350000kms.

A fair amount of rust on the sunroof panel. Sunroof (manual) does not seem to go back so could not see drains. Tail gate has a little rust much less than the auto but needs new struts or re-gassing. Few other spots have rust (door surrounds) but did not check firewall. Leather sports seats (drivers seat has a lean going on) with leather door cars. Rear seats are cloth. Dash is cracked less than the auto. Lowered on ATS wheels.

Both need a really good clean as they have been sitting a while.

  2. Hi Guys,

Awesome time for my headlight to smash and stop working <_<

Anyone in the close vicinity of Palmerston North got one? E30 PFL. Just need the dimmed light but I think they come as both the dimmed and high beam together? Not sure if I can replace the broken bits either, the bulb, concave mirror and glass are toast.

    Thanks

  3. Hey Guys,

    http://www.sella.co.nz/motoring/cars/bmw/93nmfc/

Just found this. Looks like it has alot of potential! You know how much I like white with pinstripes ;)

Looks highly spec'd, could it possibly be a m535i? It has the steering wheel, side skirts, back body kit. Seems it is either missing the front body kit or it is black. And also the wheels seem standard so maybe someone has just added bits to it...?

Anyway thought I'd share if anyone was interested.

  4. Finally got the new starter motor in and running today! Car is back together and runs just as before.

Took longer than I thought but thats what I get for tackling a job I have never done before. Starter motor swap for $25 is primo. Special thanks to Ven for all the help and the starter motor.
