Looking to buy one...

Hey guys, long time no post. This year is the year of the interior for our poor E30. I'm currently on the hunt to buy one of these: The steering wheel in that picture. Or, the Momo lookalike at least (I think i've seen a Momo one similar to this). Any input would be great. Thanks guys.

Will i be effected? Only with the subs turned on.

The arials are most likey for the GPS unit (i have the same thing in my E30) and I found mounting them on the interior at the back on the inside of the window works well. Basically where they are now, but just inside and off the the side a bit.

If you want I can shoot down tomorrow and give you a hand getting it in? We will probably be going to tauranga later on in the day so we could shoot down early and give you a hand if you like.And alpine? :puke: Oh well, amp is amp I suppose.

No chrome - just poorly polished metal. Could be tidyed up by hand pretty easily with alot of time and effort...so yeah, not that easily. I think i was quoted $150 per wheel to get them recondtioned...Once I find an appropriate set of wheels for it i'll grab em - but if i get a reasonable offer on them in the meantime ill consider going to stocks until i sort something out (brand new tyres BTW)

So I would need to know how high that cliff is to get the right measurments of the density of the air from that alitude - and also I would have to assume that the car falls in one positon as not to screw up the drag coefficient.Sounds like a project for a rainy day.

I was looking at getting flarred guards sometime...something like on this but nicer As long as its >17" wheels and looks like BBS type or maybe even similar to whats in that trademe auction. Not really sure. I want a Genuine look, though.

Oh yeah forgot to tell you about that - The exhaust is sweet - no issues at all, doesnt rattle or bang anymore. Got 2 AFM's - 1 didnt work, though, when we drove with it the car would just choke and die. The second one was mint though, and works sweet as. As for the fuel pump - this one is quieter than our last one, but still makes a noise. I'll keep an eye out for another quieter one, but for now i at least have a backup. Was a piece of piss to install.We also got a new set of spark plugs from BMW and HOLY SH1T what a difference that made...we dont struggle up hills anymore and gear changing gives you that kick you're supposed to get. Still looking at bolt-on ways to increase power - turbonator, anatomizer, flashing lights, performance stickers, ACS & M badges etc. HA!

Man as soon as I can get some Deep dish BBS's im getting them - you dont know how bad I want a set. I dont really like my wheels...but they're better than stock at the moment.

Well its been a long and painful / expensive road, but im pretty happy with the outcome of the body on the 1.6. In the light of recent self-pwned events, I thought I would post an update at whats going on with the cabletie-holding-the-exhaust-together white beast: Here is what it started life like: Then after an encounter with a reversing honda: Then after the almighty William (Topless) stepped up and gave me a lending flat-faced hammer hand and put some shape back into ye 'ol bonnet and a bit of super glue later we had some lights again! He also fitter our latest addition to the family - an iS front lip (thanks Andy!): Then after a little sanding and a few coats of paint (havent clear coated yet) I have this: and: Its not quite matched into the paint yet, I still need to put 1 last coat of the offical BMW white (since its so expensive I just use a close match on the undercoats) and once the clearcoat its on, i'll tidy it up bigtime. I'll post some pics later of my mint leather interior I got from Roy from Bavarian Motors out in Glenfield (good guy) aka. Royz off Trademe. Andy can lay testiment to its uberness!

For the moment just get it ready, when you get your acceptance email it'll have all the details in there. You should get it today, we have a team of 17 people processing recruitments!

E30 '89 Facelift M40 316 engine...we took in what we had in there to Repco and they had no idea wtf it was and where it was from, and the ones on their records for out model dont even fit in the holes? (the bolt bit is too big) So the question is, are we using the wrong plugs, or is Repco's records wrong, or what? Our ones are BOSH branded and one even has BMW on it, but they are rusted, cracked and completely black and one of them has damage on the little bit that pokes out the end...(great terms here) So, wtf?

If they find out you are a mystery shopper, you simply dont get that shop assigned to you anymore. You can still shop there by yourself, though, you wont get banned or anything. We did a Nandos Reveal where we had to go into Nandos, get some food, do the survey and go back and reveal to the manager who we are etc. etc. and show him the results. If they score 100%, they get a prize for all the staff at the time for excellent service. Once you reveal, you cant mystery shop it again, but it was our local nandos and every time after the mystery shop that we went in there, they were always really nice to us and stuff because they didnt know if we were mystery shopping them or not

For some unknown reason we didnt put an address on there...You can just send it to 110 Mt Eden Road, Mt Eden, Auckland. EDIT: Just talked to the recruitment manager, and she says that the addresses is sent by email upon approval. We're changing that now.
