  2. Hey dude

    Nice little base to start with. To me every rolling e30 in a good base for a project. Definatly stick with you plans for a m50 engine you won't regret it. You wanna make sure it's a e34 non vanos engine for a start as that way you won't have to buy a 5 series sump and oil pickup, pump etc. (expensive) and I feel these motors are a much more simpler reliable base to start with. (Stronger, no ews,wiring easier, no vanos to f**k out)

    Once you find your engine I be happy to answer any questions you have about installing it. Trust me you want to do some reasearch around the net as there are a few things that need to be changed and modified to make the m50 engine fit. Here's a good resource I used but remember these guys are american and their cars a left hand drive so the standard exhaust manifolds on m50 don't fit past steering linkage.

    The problem began when this retard started getting into people by thinking that he is the only one who is capable of working on BMW gearboxes. Kerry offered to strip one and do a write-up at the same time. This retard then climbed into Kerry, suggesting that he was incapable of doing the job. Those of us who know Kerry would know that he has long forgotten things this retard is unlikely ever to know as he is too stupid to realise that he is not the god-like person he somehow thinks he is. I think the remark that he completed his schooling refers to the fact that he got through Kindie without being thrown out and his mechanical qualification is due to having a mecchano set and managing to work out how to put a nut and a bolt together.

    This is a decent forum that doesn't need retards like this grinding low bimmer plonker.

    Can you fit a larger flowing m50 inlet manifold on to the m52 head, engine????? This would be good to know as it would liven up the 2.8 heaps in theory.

    I'm very interested to know about this as I only choose a non vanos m50 because of the fact that it's inlet manifold flows the most while the heads are similar throughout the m50 -m52's


  5. Alrite so i know this has been discussed many times with the usal Ti rear end and such solution, but is the 325 5 stud a straight swap??? or is the whole suspension system different??

    Suspension and subframe are completly different dimensions in the non compact body style. Only e36 compact, e28, z3 roadster and m coupe have same dimensions as e30's

    Correct me if I'm wrong please

    My lovely beast has been leaking oil ever since I've had it. Its been in and out of servicing with special request to fix it, still to no avail. Are there any good BMW mechanics???? That aren't going rob me blind? I service it every 6 months, the oil leak annoys the crap out of me!

    Any advice will be appreciated!

    sh*t even in one video I seen these guys e36 turbo sh*t itself while they are out testing it then when they ring them up for help DA motorsport guys aren't answering their phones or turning up to the shop to help.

  10. I have read several times on other sites that the non vanos m50s have dual valvesprings,

    forged crank, Ti retainers, flash cams and the heads flow as good as M3s.

    Apparently they are the pick of the bunch if your building a boosted engine.

    Has anyone got any more info on these engines?

    This is correct ben hence why I chucked one in my car. and dont' forget the part about the forged rods aswell e34 non vanos FTW
