Took my car to Page Eurpoean to trace a leak from the transmission area. They seem to think its coming off the area where the Kick Down cable connects to the tranny. It was recommended that I replace the entire Kick Down cable if this is the case. Is it an easy job ? or should I be just letting Page do it ? :banghead:

Hi Guys, I think I have a problem with my rear power window motor, I was trying to get to it but facing some difficulty in removing the door card . The weather strip at the top seems to be refusing budge and in the attempt of trying to remove it forcefully (my man strength kicked in) i tore a tiny bit of the strip. This weather strip on the internal side that runs along the bottom of the window frame seems to be holding the card down..Any help..appreciated.

Sorry I never replied to this, I totally missed it. Anyway did go to Page, I just got the car and wanted to let them gaze their eyes over it and tell me how I am going to be very poor for the next few years to come. But it turned out just fine, VJ and BHO quite cool...TQ

Hi There, I just bought myself an E30 318i 1989 Auto My Automatic tranny seems to be getting all stuck when the car is cold and shifting properly once warmed up. I have sent the car to Page European and getting them to change the Fluid and filter just to see if that might be the cause. The guys at Page feel that this could be something more serious. Anyone seen this...I sincerely hope I don't have to give up my E30..sob sob.
