well mines fiberglass and was alot cheaper than a second hand original but also took a bit of pising about to fit..as per usuall for glass..never quite right. as for a rear bar..you want a whole new one of just the M3 valence? if your after q whole new one check out the reiger rears..niceeee reiger the infinity I rear looks so fine..originally its what i wanted..but couldnt find anyone to make it cheap enough..

yeah when we jimmied the speaker wires the volume was way down..i had to presss my ear to the speaker to hear..dont wanna fuk them tweeters aye. as for getting the wires under the carpet..that was easy as with just my hands. but thanks for the advise anyway...just your timing was a bit retarded..lol

well im liking the Alta's..but it all comes down to what YOU like. do what i did take a side on pic of your car and photochop the different wheels on..gives you a way better impression. plus you can have some fun and put all sorts of wheels on.. i tried some G-Zeros on my ride..*shiver..eeehh such shiney hideous and common mags...

well why you guys were having fun spreading the BMW love in aucks *sic and i had more pressing issues...making Homys ride even more bling!. step one removing the old stereo..no drama there..also no aerial plug that ive ever seen before..oh well no radio channels for me then. step two taking out the centre console to run the RCAs (after a quick look under the glove box decided against taking them this way) so down the middle of the car it was.(hint remove tray around hand brake first)lift carpet and push em on thru..easy..ish. step three remove back seats grab front edge of lower part yank up remove grab top edge of upright and with much cursing get your fingers behind it and yank foward , then lift up to clear lower locators, remove. step fourrunning RCAs into boot (thanks to bmw for that nifty space for the lines coming out from the gas tank...RCAs go thru perfectly too ok this is where the real fun began after stripping out the boot we decided it was easier and way quicker to use the factory speaker wires..only they were attached to the factory amp so after picking them appart from each other (they're in 10 pairs,ive got 10 factory speakers) theyre the ones spiraled loosely together. so as we didnt want to rip the car appart looking for where every wire came from we got nasty and hooked up my amp and pulged in the stereo (volume low) and proceeded to make some +/- contacts on the amp...then with me running round telling what speaker went we soon had all hte buggers labled...yes i know how rough this is..we were getting impaitent and hungry. so wiring sorted and amps hooked up now it was just the crossovers to wire in...+/-,tweeters/mids etc..easy.hide the wiring and hook up the sub to its amp..BOOM!! ..now ive got to go rattle hunting..gay!! oh well it sounds freeking good inside the car way better bass than my old car(same gear too) special ups to *Sic for all his audio brains and ringing me up to TELL me we were putting in the sounds..lol Cheers bro!! No not for me !! my sister already has a E30 318 but its gettin pretty tired so we're looking round for something a bit better maybe a 320+ ,2/4 door no worries,NOT RED if its got any body damage will still consider it...but not rust..coz i know im gonna have to fix it and i cant be arsed doing rust yeah so if anyone knows anyone selling one for a good deal.. hook a homy up

well went and had a chat to the alarm guy today to sus me some security. he asked to see my key (strange) then he puts it in this device and it "reads" it. then he makes a hmm noise and gently with thumb and fore finger, hands it back to me and tells me its a very expensive key. so i enquire as to why. Its coz its a wicked quality chip inside the key that tells the car its ok to start from this key. so if i was to get an normal key and have it cut the same it still wouldnt work...PHATT!! it also means if i want a spare i have to pay some extra $$ to have it chipped the same. Yeah so its off to get an alarm etc put in tomorrow..woohoo more $$ spent just to hold on to my car from thieving bastards!!

EEEKK Aucks pirces are so harsh! and red....man thats like tghe worst colour for sun fade...pigment gets hammered in the harsh UV. pitty your not in hammy..could do you a deal as for whats involved.. striping every possible attachment you can and depending on you original paint quality you can either give it a light scratch up with some fine sandpaper(just to get the gloss off and have something for the new paint to stick to).. or bare metal strip and prime/paint . like if your happy with your body work and just want a fresh look it wont be too much of a biggie..its when you have to do rust/dents etc that time gets burnt. In case you didnt know im a panelbeater(i prefer automotive rehabilitation tech')
