05 e53 which i have been told has BT as standard. Picking it up this Friday - will know more than!!

I have the Sat nav 16:9 screen and wanting to pick up an IPOD integration kit

Been reading heaps on the net & forums.

Seems like there are only 3 options out there -

1)BMW kit - limited functionality

2)Dice Silverline - ok functionality with a good price

3) Intravee - some says its the Alpine unit is no longer being manufactured & the most expensive.

Am about to order the Dice unit & was wondering if anybody else is running it in their cars?

Not too fuss about track selection/playlist as i usually just have it on shuffle.

Any feedback from Kiwi users would be great!

Used mostly over the weekend (99%) and odd occassion to work.

As soon i picked it up, it went into BMW Workshop for a thorough check and full service.

It was uncovered that the Radiator was poked - new one in - $500!

New Cambelt and tensioner and other bits and bobs

Haven't missed a hearbeat & push it at times, as you would a 2.0 M20!

New sunroof panel was put in and colour matched as the old one had developed bubbles.

Painted the rear spoiler at the same time

New Pioneer head unit with a 4 channel amp in customer box

Have the orignal head unit - can be thrown in

Bilsteins sports on the front with Kings

Have bilsteins for the rears as wel but can't be arsed removing all that interior to get it fitted.
