  1. Wow Simon didn't say anything negative about the E36...
  2. I'm hoping it's the recession, really not keen to sell mine that low!
  3. Mikal

    Im puzzled

Is this the same for the E36? always wondered what the button under the fogs did Had a play with all the buttons when I got the car but never thaught to look at the arse of it.
  4. I'm always keen for a "friendly argument/discussion" to do with my E36 but thats when it's a mate trying to tell me his jap trap could waste my car... why argue with someone who has an extremely nice E34?
  5. Don't start this again Simon
  6. I'd love to hear this guy attempt to sell cars as a salesman at a dealership. that'd be gold.
  7. I have learnt alot from you old farts, thanks to you guys I have steered clear of chromes and "gangsta yo" tail lights... really I mean THANKS! haha
  8. I was one of the youngest once... back in 05, always too scared to go to meets because I didn't want to hang around all the old farts.
  9. "worked hard"... I know what you mean, I worked at The Warehouse putting stock on shelves to earn my car, I want to add an evo to my list too now , Any jobs at starbucks at the moment???
  10. 18 and you own an Evo + BMW, I'm jealous
  11. Are we even allowed to joke about doing that to an m3!
  12. I'm starting to really like gold rims with the polished lip. did try them on mine but with the blue it looked too much like a subaru
  13. Didn't mean to go that low, but my computer starts to go super slow the longer i use photoshop I nudge it down with a number of hits to the arrow key on the keyboard and after minutes of waiting thats where it ended up... just wanted to save it before the computer froze Thats the plan though, tinted, black wheels with the blue lip to be different from all the black/polished lip wheels around these days, I do want to go a little lower at the front so the gap between the wheel and guard looks more the the back wheels, also blacken the grill edit: there are some other minor mods like the slightly darker headlights and tidied up the trim to look darker too.
  14. I hope this sort of thread hasn't been done before... But... I'm home most days of the week as I am currently a "job seeker" and i spend a lot of my time reading through bimmersport. I know there are a lot of skilled photoshopers out there that like to modify their cars so I have made this thread so you can show off your photoshop skills and show us the look you are going for with your car... I'm not the best photoshoper and have an incredibly slow PC this teamed with my impatient nature means its a little messy but you get the idea, here is the look I'm aiming for with my 328i... ps. I know its extremely dirty but dust and butterflies seem to attract to my car when I drive... along with birds car at present: hopefully it will one day look something like this:
  15. Holy crap!, I wouldn't even want to be the guys standing next to the ute in the 1st pic.
  16. I have always taken my BMWs to Betta Motor Works, I'm sure they would be able to do a PPI, the numbers (09) 4381634 if you want to give them a ring and check. What did happen to Northland Prestige? I used to like going in there and drooling over cars I can't afford
  17. Last time I had the opportunity to drive through the tunnel was when I picked up the 328, thought flag that! I'm not going to shorten my drive home Orewa is so quiet these days...
  18. Thats what I wanted to know, my car has the speakers in the parcel tray, the ones in the footwell walls, and the one single speaker on the doors yet my Mums 97 328i has two smaller speakers on the doors???
  19. Few quick snaps with the camera phone again...
  20. Thanks for the comments guys. I just had the fuel gauge fixed yesterday, can't remember what the guy said it was but the needle always stay on empty. But now it all goes and I can't believe how little fuel it uses (comparing to the 1.8l in the E30 to the 2.8l). Now I just drive all the time, It's chooiiice!!!!
  21. I see I've started yet another E30 vs. E36 war, Can't we just say we all love 3 series BMWs and then go back to picking on the 5'ers.
  22. Also, can anyone please tell me what the name of this blue is?
  23. I do still love E30s, always will. This thing with the e36 could just be a fling... a very hot sexy thrilling fling
  24. I guess a little more info may help... The car is a 1999 BMW 328i Manual coupe, Was NZ new in 1999, has full mint leather interior, some random brand of 18" wheels that I think look good. 166000km on the clock and I think I may be in love I don't know how I ever put up with the E30s extreme body roll, rugged (good) looks and weak 1.8l 4 cylinder. The 328i is just amazing
