I hope it goes well too, It's all been pretty messy buying the car so far with sorting the finance owing on the car etc... but thats sorted now and just got to do some last minute things tomorrow morning. Fingers crossed. I've been trying to get my parents to buy a BMW for years, ever since I got the e30 back in 2005. Finally achieved that.

Also half way through the build the engine bay caught on fire. That was good for a laugh

I watched that show yesterday.. They put 6 inch spacers on it!!! even after the engineer said thats a bad idea.

Haha yeah, already trying to work out when I will be able to steal her springs and shocks without her knowing.

So long story short... I have been looking at 328i coupes for a while now, test driven a few and chosen the one I want. But during this process my mother decided she also likes the e36 coupes, then my father decides maybe Mum needs a new car. The result... Mums 1997 328i coupe

Apparently it would pass a W.O.F, "just needs a spare wheel"...

Your silver 328i was the best looking out of all the ones I looked at but I just had to go with the 3 pedals, my left foot just has too much energy to drive an auto..

Congrats bro... but I had been nagging mum to buy your car so i could steal the wheels and your air filter set up for the soon to be mine, 328i manual. She actually started to think about it, Too late I guess.. p.s I'm the dude who came to look at the car last weekend.

535i 5spd sounds pretty fun but how much of a project is it? pics would be great.

I would prefer to move on from E30s though, and I want power so 2.5l is what I'm mostly after

Its been such a long time since my last visit to bimmersport but I am back because i recently just sold the 318i e30. Now I'm looking to spend around $4500 on the next car, preferably another BMW so if any one has something they want sold around that price, let me know. I'm after something tidy, most likely an E34 525i, could go E36 but want at least a 2.5l or maybe a tidy modified E30. just post a pic and description... Cheers
