  1. haha yep :) bf nam, 2142, bf2, bfBC2 and cod 4, mw2

I thought I recognised the name( -Sila- ,etc right?), I play BFBC2 and the new Nam but started with BF1942 and then the subsequent titles (expect 2142), What's your gaming handle _Matt_?

My gaming name is snow* (I'm a grumpy cnut ingame, but was a bit of a fiend in BF192)

  2. Tom has summed it up quite nicely.

I wouldn't spend less than $600 on a helmet personally.

Try and avoid motorcycle helmets as they tent not to have a nomex/fireproof lining as you're usually thrown from a motorbike in a crash.

  3. I agree with nearly all your posts mate, and most of the time I like your 'straightup ness'

It's just the e-thuggery I think that throws people. The thing about the Internet is that everyone can be tough no matter how big or small.

  4. Great day fellas, good to take the GTR out for some testing on its maiden voyage.

Big thanks to James and April for running the day and the two marshals who sat out in the sun all day (poor buggers)

Also thanks to Eddie (rot62) for sitting in the passengers seat with Willie and myself and helping us improve our lines.

I'm hoping to make it to the open days on the 7th and also the 12th (then it looks like there's no open days until February 19th?)

  5. Rightio lads, very small update unfortunately.

Not much progress has happened although its now at the painters (Precision Autowerk), hopefully being painted next week.

We're hoping to have the car done by the end of next week in time for some trackdays over the summer break.

(excuse some of the poor quality cellphone pics)

Door card template (have now finished them, made from ABS plastic)

  6. Alert are a rip off since they changed hands, I'm guessing you're in a hurry though Jack?

If you're not in a hurry I'd import some Goodridge lines in yourself, you should be able to get a set of 6 hoses for about $200.

Race brakes and Alert will charge you about $150+ per hose

You could also try Eugene at Exedy in Glenfield (just around the corner from Gavin's) I suspect he'll be cheaper than Race brakes and Alert
