Exactly what I am after. What springs did you use on the front, my back is fine but my front is a good few inchs higher.

Just wondering what the ride heights is like with M3 springs compared to factory 328i springs. I think the m-sport springs are around 20mm, correct me if I am wrong, would the M3 springs be the same or lower. I found the below info on google, don't know how accurate it is. I am getting a set of 225/50R16 Dunlop Direzza this weekend. $170.00 per tyre from Tony's Tyre Service, they ussually charge $190.00 per tyre. North City Tyres quoted me $212.00 per tyre. So I don't know if Tony's Tyre Service has given me a good deal or not but it's dam good compared to what North City Tyre's quoted.

$310.00 for them to be painted and curbing cleaned up. After this just Mothers polish and about 4-5 hours of polishing.

I am still deciding if I will give them a wax. Right now they are just polished. I used a Mothers product which claims it will polish and protect. I will proberly give them a wax and maybe spray down the rims with some sort of brake dust protectent. I think someone mention a brake dust protectent will help with cleaning since the dust sticks to the protectent and not the rim. Helps with cleaning.

Here's some pics of my wheels. Since the weather has not been so crash hot of recent I deceided to dedicate my weekend to wheel polishing. I picked the rims up from the panel beater on Saturday morning. The rims have been sanded back and repainted and clear coated to the outide rim edge. I then polished the rim myself. Thanks to all the members who passed on their advice about wheel polishing and what products to use. Before: After:

Yes, that's a bugger all right. That spoiler was the exact one I was after, my E36 is black as well. I saw it on trademe but did nothing about it apart from pm'ing Sven007 a day after it had sold. :banghead:

I thought that spoiler may have not been the M-Spec spoiler. But yes I am after a M-Spec spoiler which looks similar to the one in the photo.

After a set of M-Sport springs for a E36 328i or know somewhere I can get a set from. Thank you.

Yes, at this stage I think I will not clear coat the finish product. I have given the rims a light buff and the shine is starting to come up well. But oxidation is a concearn.I am considering a bit of annual leave so I can really put in the hours to acheive the show room shine :bowdown: . Thanks for the feedback, it's been a great help.

Just wondering if the 318is Motorsport srings would go on a E36 328i?, or would the 328i require the 328i motorsport springs due to the increase in weight and so on. Thanks again

I have a set of mags which have a semi polished outside rim edge. I gave them a wee bit of a buff and the seem to shine up all right. Just wondering if anyone has a good step by step process for wheel polishing and products I could use? I want to really bring out the shine I dont' really want to take them to a specialist since I am just doing the outide rim edge. I found a post a while back in which one of the members on this forum had repainted a set of rims black and polished the outside rim lips up really nice. Thanks again.

I have had a good search and could not find anything in relation to my query. On the way home from the super market today my ABS warning light came on and has not gone away since. I have tried turning the card off and on, sometimes things like this can work. I have looked in my BMW manual and it states if the light is on your brakes still work however ABS is disabled. It then states you should take it to a BMW specialist to have the fault looked at. Just wondering if anyone knows what the problem could be and what price I could be looking at to have this fixed. Would it be recomendable to go to a BMW specialist, or should my local mechanic be able to do the trick? Thanks guys.

Hello, I have just purchased a set of 16inch rims. Two of the rims have been lightly sanded back. I am just wondering if it is possible to get them repainted back to the original or similar colour shade which is silver. Any idea's of how much, where I can and if anyones done this before would be great. Thanks guys/

I had this error a month or so ago. But yes mine was a simple replace one of the rear brake light bulb jobs.

I did'nt think a "ti" could even fit 19's without spending a consideralbe amount of money. Would hate to think what the handling would be like aswell.
