so true....how retarded would you have to be to crash on a road such as the road up to silverdale from the shore.....having been to germany it is actually better than some of the autobahns there.....the speed limit could be 110 or so as the 2 lanes are separated....its smooth...a beautiful road to drive at night...ive seen cop cars cruising along at 150 at night when they think no one is watching.....having side roads like SH1b would cater to people who want to drive on scum side roads......ah if only new zealanders could drive.....its a sad fact that most of us cant...drive training would do wonders (imagine if everyone in nz had to attend a day like taupo) as half of all people on the road have absolutely NO idea of what is going on around them or what is happening when they go round a corner in their car.....ah dreams are free

no they cheap rip off mtech 2....having said that i will be keeping them.....just need to be mounted properly and they will look alright...havent had them on for ages cos i keep jacking car up!

for anyone doing this job (or just bolting a diff back in) i have some free advice....although the manual says put the subframe in the car then bolt on diff.....i find it easier to bolt the diff onto the subframe THEN bolt the subframe in....bolting the subframe in with diff attached will be a little tricky....but nowhere near as tricky/annoying as spending 5 hours + trying to attach diff and then finding a thread is stripped...grrrrr

well couldnt be arsed writing a proper title.....so one of the holes that i bolt the subframe onto the diff by has a stripped thread....current plan is to get a heli coil and drill a new one.....ive got a rough idea on how to do this...but not 100% any suggestions? any other options?

v8 + coupe= fast....if you want a 4 cylinder e30 m3..buy one.....back in the day 192 hp was enough....but when your competing with amg's 700nM machines (and lets face it....that is the direct competition) you sorta need something with a little more grunt. my 2c.....each to their own i spose
