The 2JZ is a far better all round engine, more reliable, more power for your $ and more available.. We installed the new Link G4 extreme, 272 degree cams, bigger injectors, single turbs and a few other custom goodies and its pulling 550Kw @ the wheels..

I dont know if you have seen my motor sport videos or not, but chances are your cam will be absolutely fine so long as its mounted correctly. If its a HDD cam, forget it, if its a digital camcorder, all good. I can totally recommend EBC Redstuff - 3000C Series pads. I have done numerous track days and hard laps at Pukekohe ie. hitting the 100M braking marker at 230km/h on the back straight, + 20,000kms street use on them and they still are not even half worn! They work great from cold, they have never squeaked or squealed or faded once. Compared to other performance pads I have used I would rate them 8 out of 10 for price quality and performance. For the $ you want to spend, the JBL GTO-506C would be the pick of the bunch by far.. Ive sold a lot of speakers of various brands and rate the JBL's best bang for your buck. I installed a set of these 506C's into my E30 and run them off a Panasonic digital 70W x 4 head unit and they do not distort even at full volume. Specs: * 1" Kaladex (polyethylene naphthalate film) edge-driven dome tweeter * 2-way crossover (high-/low-pass at 4,000 Hz, 12 dB per octave) * frequency response 70-21,000 Hz * recommended power range 2-55 watts RMS * peak power handling 165 watts * sensitivity 89 dB * top-mount depth 2-1/4" Sound Quality: 7 out of 10 (they really do thrive when amplified) Parallel currently have them for $149.00 PS. They fit into the E30 factory kick panels with no modification at all.. If your going on the road-trip to Raglan on Monday, your more than welcome to have a listen to them in action..

Hahaha...gearboxes do not whine like that when they are in neutral..and just because a car is driving on a track doesn't mean its a race car..you can see on the other video, it doesn't have a roll cage and is certainly not performing like what was shown on the spedo clip. One other dead giveaway in my books is, I questioned the things I noted above in the comments box of his video and it was removed the same day...hmmmm why would he do that..lol, Conrad is right, there is no way a 220hp M20 is going to do 0-240km/h in 30sec, thats a fact wouldn't you say
-
Haha..what redline Its a bit of a scam tho.. Its actually on a rolling dyno.. Quite a few things give it away.. 1. The dyno controller cord running across the screen 2. The sound of someone counting down at the start, echo sound from in a building 3. If you look at the clear plastic face on the speedometer cluster, there is absolutely no reflections going past 4. The extreme lack of wind noise at 240km/h(anyone who has been that fast will no what I mean!) 5. The fact he puts it in neutral at over 200km/h(again anyone who has been that fast knows you just dont do that) 6. The extreme whining noise coming from the rollers as the car slow(this is the reason why the clip stops so early, so they dont give it away. Dont get me wrong, that is one sick engine!! Most impressive indeed..

Dont know if this has already been posted, but worth a look anyway..

My latest video of us competing down in Christchurch, Round 3 of the New Zealand Drift Series Try the High Quality version, its actually quite a big improvement...Curt Whittaker NZ Drift Series

80? Do you mean $80?? Cause germanplates.com is in US currency, 2 plates including shipping is $120.00NZ or $140.00 with plate surrounds..if your going for looks haha..
-
Haha... I would rather put the $140.00! towards a MAF than waste it on a plate! My priority was to build the car to enjoy the driving expreience, not how other people think it should look... "Individualism" man, look it up sometime.
-
Cheers man, I removed the standard exhaust manifold and had Gavin from A'ls Mufflers custom make some headers, from there, its single 2.25inch mandrel bent right through, with one resinator and a lukey rear muffler.
-
*Numberplates are an ugly necessity as it is, putting an even larger one on is not an option aye.. & I dont want to lose the plate its got seeing as it matches the year of the car *I got the carbon & chrome surround from the US, I cant remember exactly how much it was..quite cheap though
-
Hey Lukas, hows it.. Sorry dude, bad news, he gave up on the project and is now just about finished putting a near 500hp M30 into his E30 325i!! Man, I cant wait to drive that..
