  1. Yeah I agree, but due to business commitments ive got to..
  2. I dont have a price sorted yet sorry..its really hard to define what its worth!! The engine is brand new, built by Rob @ Barvarian Motors, its a modified 2.7ltr, 288 Schrick Cam, Schrick double valve springs, ported/polished head, new valves, rockers, retainers etc etc..pre-facelift pistons, lightened flywheel, MAP-ECU and its mated to a 5spd close ratio dog box! So yeah..keep an eye out in the for sale section for a complete listing and the price
  3. I took the shots down at Birkenhead Wharf. I removed that horrible fan and replaced it with a genuine BMW 2 stage electric one mounted in front of the radiator..works and looks heaps better.
  4. Thanks for the comment, yeah those wheels really set the car off hey I got them from a guy in Auckland City who imports them, i'll see if I can dig up his number, get back to you..
  5. Im sad to say it..but my motorsport is about to go on the market Details coming soon..
  6. Looks great, im not familiar with your car so it depends on whats underneath where your filter sits, but if there is any room for around a 70mm hole, cut one and run flex hose from a air dam in your front bumper if poss..Other than that, if you want to get better results, construct your airbox out of a composite material..ie carbon fibre, fibre glass or a high heat resistant plastic etc etc.. basically anything that doesnt transfer heat, you will notice a big difference!
  7. Yeah its getting there.. i'll have pics up, including the engine bay as soon as its tuned...cheers
  8. Im not running the Motronic ECU, opted for a more suitable replacement..
  9. Absolutely.. The H23 head will match with the 2.7 block no probs, just make sure the head has been fully checked over and set by a specialist, I used Gary @ cylinder head specialist on the shore, he's very good. The other thing you will need to do is drop the pistons out and have the block skimmed (1mm), then replace them with modified facelift M20 high compression pistons which will raise the compression to around 10.0:1/10.5:1. It should net you around 200-210HP with the 325i ECU you have. If he wants to take it further let me no and i'll give him the full specs of my engine.. hope that helps

  20. I think you may want to have another look at the pictures. These strut braces cannot swivel about on the strut towers at all..
  21. As soon as you take the hinged ends away the brace has to be bent at either end. As soon as you bend any type of piping you are reducing its end on strength. We have tested both fixed hinged and bent and the fixed hinge is by far stronger! The ultimate strut brace would be dead straight and level between the strut towers...not possible with the E30. Ours are as close as you can get...
  22. Whittaker Motorsport E30 Alloy Front Strut Brace!- NEW! If you have a E30 your going to want one of these high quality braces! They are designed to give support between the two front strut towers and help prevent torque flexing of the chassis. This in turn creates a better handling car through the corners. It really does make a big difference. Quick and easy to install, only takes five mins. Race car or your daily driver! DONT miss out!! * HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL* Contact: Boyd Whittaker Price: $349.00NZ 021 752-616 or [email protected] Pictures: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=85309578
