  1. Hi Guys! Newbie here. I’ve been lurking in the Bimmersport forums for a while now, mostly using it as a reference to troubleshoot issues myself. However, I’ve hit a brick wall with my headlights—lmao. A Bit of Backstory I bought my car (2006 E87 130i) a couple of years ago, and all was well. Then, a job opportunity came up in the South Island, which I took. Since the job came with a company car, I decided to leave the Bimma at home for when I returned. It has been driven occasionally to keep it from sitting, which is great, but since coming back, I’ve run into an issue with my low beams and halos. The Issue I have bi-xenon headlights, and the problem started with one low beam going out, followed by the halo on the same side. I replaced the xenon bulb, which fixed it for a few months, but then the low beam started flickering on and off. Now, neither the halos nor the low beams work on either side. What I’ve Tried So Far • Replaced all headlight-related fuses in the fuse box. • Bought a new ballast to test if that was the issue, but the lights on that side still don’t work. Possible FRM Issue? From my research, I’ve seen that it could be an FRM issue. I’ve read that if the FRM detects over 50 faults, it shuts off power to the affected module (if that’s true and not just a myth—lol). If that’s the case, then I’ve definitely hit that limit. However, I don’t seem to have any other FRM failure symptoms, so I don’t think the entire module has failed. If an FRM reset is needed, does anyone here have Tool32 software and would be willing to help a brother out? Or could someone point me toward a trustworthy shop that can reset it? I’d rather not go to a shop if I can avoid it—I love learning and fixing things myself. Every issue I’ve encountered so far, I’ve been able to sort out, but this one has me stumped. If anyone has had a similar issue or knows the fix (or at least the pathway to fixing it), I’d love to hear from you! Ps. I work in the liquor industry so would be more than willing to sort someone something out for helping me. Thanks in advance! Let me know if you need any additional info like vin etc
  2. Looking at getting the umnitza project30s for my e30, anyone else have these? What's your experience with them? Cheers.
  3. Hi all, I have a 2006 BMW 320i E90 pre-facelift model (pre-LCI) with halogen lamps and no angel eye rings and I wanted to upgrade to the best possible angel eyes set up. With a bit of research I have found that the entire lighting unit will need to be replaced and after talking to fishcake on ebay about the DEPO P90 V2 part - he mentioned that the only part compatible with the halogen factory set up were: https://www.uniquestyleracings.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=157&search=e90+headlight (from his website) Has anyone used this particular part before? (i've heard that condensation can be an issue due to build quality and that they usually don't send you a new product and expect you to re-seal?) Will it be plug n play with my E90 / no ring halogen set up? Any coding required for errors, etc. or other parts I will need to buy? (apart from the bulbs) Any places in Auckland that will do the installation + coding etc? - BM Workshop has said they don't do it PS. I've included a picture of my current lights. Thanks in advance, Arjun
