Silver Fox 43 Report post Posted May 6, 2007 (edited) Not wrong, I've got a set here you could have for $800. PS, no tyres tho. Edited May 7, 2007 by Silver Fox
Andrew 30 Report post Posted May 6, 2007 That's what I hate about TM - you autobid and it automagically bumps it to reserve. I'll take you up on that set if this falls through.
martyyn 2 Report post Posted May 6, 2007 The bidding small print has caught you out Andy. If you put an autobid on that is less than the reserve it puts your full bid in regardless. If your autobid is greater than the reserve then it puts in the reserve as your first bid and keeps whats left over to carry on as you would expect an autobid to, increment each time someone adds another bid. Obviously from a buyers point of view its a complete joke but for a seller its fantastic. I wont use an autobid anymore because its just too risky which defeats the purpose. You can always ask to have the bid removed.

Silver Fox 43 Report post Posted May 7, 2007 Best way to find reserve is to bid in small increments until the 15% sign comes up, until it comes up you just keep your bid to less than 15% of the existing bid. That way you don't end up buying it unless you want to.
