325_driver 422 Report post Posted August 9, 2007 hey guys in taking engine mounts off to do the sump i encountered something wierd so im undoing them from the top, and i go to crack one of the nuts and it turns out the whole bolt it was attached to broke so now my engine is sitting on only 1 engine mount is this that serious ? what will i need to fix it ? weld it ? has any one run into this before ?? cheers Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
bravo 35 Report post Posted August 9, 2007 (edited) Yes it is serious - you'll fail a WOF, and if you stop in a hurry you run the risk of putting themotor into the radiator. Very easy to fix though. Brand new mounts are about $50+GST from Euro Italian and if you have a chain block or a decent jack to lift the motor, they are easy to replace.
