Will X5 wheels fit on a E46?

will X5 wheels (18 X 8.5) fit on a E46? the Stud Patterns should be same, but not sure about offset.

Not sure about E46, but i know they fit on E34, perhaps E46 has same offset?

x5 wheels fit e36's, so should be ok for e46's

rear max offset is 39 at 9.5

front max offset is 39 at 8.5

I think they are 40 offset, so youll be fine.

i just went to bmw dealer yesterday, i was told that the offset of x5 wheels are way to high for an e46! what do you guys think?

Do you know what year vehicle the X5 wheels are off? From memory the factory ET for the 18" X5 wheels are 48 which is very high. I think even though the offsets of the wheels are very similar between an E46 and an X5, the width of the X5 wheel will cause you problems and hit the inside struts at the front, they should bolt onto the rear no problems though.
