cainchapman 0 Report post Posted October 5, 2007 I assume we are talking about this car? http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...htm?key=5444405 It's very nice (if you like Purple and white). But I would think that it is one of 2 cars in the country that have only 2 owners (ours being the other). As it doesn't have any of the ///M geat that ours does, nor cruise control. I'd still expect $15k+ for it. There are about 10 540iS in NZ (E34). I would assume that most of them are NZ New. Paul your comments are valid. Most people wouldn't stretch tp $50k for an E28 M5. But, those that know and can afford it will pay for a car that is greater than the sum of it's parts. You aren't comparing Apples with Apples.

StylesM5 0 Report post Posted October 11, 2007 Remember, thats nearly 18 years old...Yep, but oooohhhh so good. They were hand assembled and in 4 years of ownership and nearly 200,000 kms on the clock, mine didn't have so much as a rattle or squeak when I sold it 3 years ago.
