What would you buy?

Im not sure if this has been done before, but I'm kinda bored and just thought of this hypothetical question.

If you had $10k, what would you buy? $20k? $100k? Think outside the square guys, it may hard, but it doesn't have to be a BMW.

Well, to start off.... I would have:

$10k - BMW 328i Coupe (pref manual)

$20k - Audi S3 or possibly an M3 Evo

$100k - Porsche 911 (996) or an Audi RS6

(see its hard trying to think past BMWs!)

$20k - Alfa Romeo 156 GTA manual

$100k - Porsche 993 RS

E39 M5/E34 M5 or E46 CSL would be the few M cars i would own.

really though, i wouldnt want much else other than e30s until you get to that sorta $$ (ie 50k) i could imagine buying an evo 8 or 9 but not really the associated costs to run the thing

I agree on the Alfa GTA front. We've got 2 of them, and I can't get my hands on one for $20k. If I could. I'd be there. Nice choice though.

$100k, I agree with Paul an E30 M5 is a great car. But if I had to spend it all...a slightly rough 246GT probably.

$10,000(ish)- 1979 SAAB 99 Turbo- 'Burnt Orange' coachwork with brown velour and a sunroof, please.

$20,000(ish)- 1987 Lotus Esprit, 'Essex White' with light grey leather and turquoise piping/mint green diagonal alcantara highlights, and a glass lift off roof panel, thanks. Preferably also with a car phone.

$100,000(ish)- 1989 BMW Z1(RHD), in 'Swimming Pool Blue' with white leather, cheers. Price justified that only one was made in this colour, for one of the Z1 designers. Working car phone a given.
