Braeden320 0 Report post Posted October 20, 2007 Bought a 1997 318i today for <3k. Got the fright of my life coming back over the rimutakas in the wet. Cornered too fast downhill, slid sideways, overcompensated, slid the other side sideways, spun, ended up with my nose back up the hill and my bum 3m away from the traffic coming up the hill. f**k So not doing that ever again on public roads. I can see why you say save it for the track! Good Effort on the new ride. Was it the one i posted up earlier in the tread for you to have a look at?in masterton? This one Here

ThreeOneEight 0 Report post Posted October 20, 2007 Ahh, good choice. That's a 1987. A much more exciting year than 1997. I like the colour, what is it called? (It will say on the black plate on the left hand front suspension turret in your engine bay(in German).

tire 10 Report post Posted October 22, 2007 I took some quick pics round at Evans bay today. The birdshit gives it character, yes? I blanked out the number plates just because everyone else does. Why do people do this?

tire 10 Report post Posted October 22, 2007 Because they are paranoid About what?
jjs 64 Report post Posted October 22, 2007 About what? That the police might be able to track them down if they talk about doing dubious things in posts. Or, that someone might take a liking to their car, do a reg check, find out where they live, and steal it. Both things happening are highly unlikely.
