Anyone done a manual conversion on a E36?

Have been looking around and I seem to find lots of cheap, but high km 325i's and 328i's. Like this one.

Has anyone done a manual conversion on a E36? Is it difficult to do? What is the rough cost?

Thats gonna sell for loads more than what its at now.

Its annoying how all the kids get all excited and have to start bidding before it all starts, hence pushing the final price up. l2tm!

yes done one to my 325ci.

parts are hard to find . cost $800-2000 for kit(when you can get them) . you can use a kit from a 325i 323i 320i m3 etc . you could use a box from m50 powered e34 also , but will need pedal stuff from e36 .

just takes time (about 1 to 2 days).

oh and you need a higher geared diff to match the gearbox ( all the m50 boxes have 1:1 top gear) like 3.25-3.45 etc
