E34 Blower series resistance replacement

Hey. I have an E34 535iS and the blower resistor is not working on 1 and 2. I have been on to www.bmwe34.net and followed thier instructions, but must be blind as I cannot see it when I removed the 'Carpeted panel' Can anyone give me some guidance here???

yes the lower panel and carpet . use a very bright light to see .
