I know it seems weird - but according to the article the difference in price is due to the M3 having the 4L V8 and the B3 having a modified version of the 3L straight 6 and turbos from the 335i Big donk = big dollars! kiwi535 538 Report post Posted November 22, 2007 the actual seeling price of a car is largely due to the manufacturers perceived market segment.Ie they can reallyt decide how much it will sell for,which may have very little to do with what it costs them to make.And remeber,in relation to the cost BMW had in developing the M3 Alpina have already got a car...
