martyyn 2 Report post Posted December 12, 2007 (edited) Does anyone know if there is more headroom in an e30 without a sunroof than one with a sunroof ? Does the roof mechanism take more room in the headlining and therefore make it lower ? Edited December 12, 2007 by Penry

Mavrick 0 Report post Posted December 12, 2007 I dont know for sure but i've got a sunroof and my heads bout 2 inches from the roof with the seat reclined so thats it's in the most 'bucket' position, with the sports seats. I can imagine your problem, head room isn't a luxury in the e30.

OLLIE 26 Report post Posted December 20, 2007 more room without a headliner!
ThreeOneEight 0 Report post Posted December 21, 2007 Plenty of headroom in mine with a sunroof, and I'm six foot. I think it makes a little bit of difference in the rear where they sunroof goes back into and the seat squab is higher than the front seats. But probably very marginal, the E30 interior is generally quite spacious for the size of car given the engine layout.
