hzrdus 0 Report post Posted January 3, 2008 Hey all, I'm new to this site (and what a site it is). Thought I'd introduce myself and my cars. I'm Sam and I live on the norther side of Auckland. Here's some pictures of my cars. I don't know what you guys will think but I've done them how I wanted to. The E28 is the car I drive daily and I love driving it. Only down side it's an auto. As for the E30 I'll let the photos do the talking (that is if they all work) I look forward to being part of BS.

cainchapman 0 Report post Posted January 3, 2008 The E28 is a nice example. The E30 looks good. You've put a lot of effort into it. I'd do without the chromies and the missing fuel cover. Welcome.

hzrdus 0 Report post Posted January 3, 2008 Thanks guys. Nice to hear what you think. There is a few things missing in those photos (like the fuel cap and a few bits of trim and sunroof) As for spending cash on it. You would actually be surprised as I did everything except the engine and paint my self. Althogh in saying that I didn't get it to this stage in a few months. As for specs this is what I can think of right now. It's a 13b bridge port, with high comp rx8 rotors, 48mm IDA and a 2 1/4 twin exhaust all the way with four silencers. The body and the engine bay were the hardest part, welding and sanding and sanding and sanding. The engine bay got welded up and so did the handles. The Mtech 2 is only fiberglass (all I could find at the time) but I spent forever getting it fitting correctly. It's still not going at the mo. Need to sort out an oil cooler, brake lines, and extra gauges. So not long now. The interior is stock standard with recaro style seats. Hopefully will start on that once the car is on the road. Mike 1 Report post Posted January 3, 2008 (edited) loving the engine bay. good to hear theres a few silencers in there too. I reckon a rotary is a good little engine for an e30 as they are light cars, the noise coming from a few dickheads cars (we all know the stereotype) puts me off them a bit though. looking forward to seeing it finished, keep us updated. hzrdus 0 Report post Posted January 4, 2008 Finally, chromes that don't look crap! I love the E30 mate, well done. Shaved body and bay is very cool. Thanks mate. It took ages to find the right wheels for it. Had to have chrome to tie in with the bay.
